Sergachev is getting better and better when paired with Hedman, its a little Hedman in Sergachev and he must stay in the club with a NTC in his next contract.

Making sure they don't forget the two rings

I feel like we need 6-8 names on the list though. Lots of guys are under-performing right now.

Well that 8-1 win was pretty sweet with lots of guys coming back to life. Would be really nice if our *obnoxious coughing* "future #1 RD" would come back to life too. God knows he has all the necessary tools for it. It's just frustrating as hell because Hedman shuts games down on his own at (almost) the same consistency of Lidstrom and Pronger and Rutta works as a perfectly acceptable as "do no harm" partner and meanwhile a guy whose offensive talent is on par with Dan Boyle has growing pains. I hope Cooper and Zettler ties Sergachev to Hedman's hip next year. This kid is too good to have some of the nights like he does.

But! I asked for the light to come on this year and sweet Christ alive did he ever show it. Hopefully it's one of those lights that flicker a few times before really getting going

I still dont think he ever had real #1 potential. I see him as more McDonagh replacement than Hedman. Not the same player type at all, obviously, but we will always need a Dman who's better than Serg, IMO.

He's been terrible the past two games. Doesn't seem like he's taken the next step

It is actually ridiculous how many times he turns it over.

He doesn't do anything good offensive so you'd hope he'd play a more "solid" game
