Edmonton being 7-0-0 against Ottawa and 15-13-1 against everyone else isn’t much to gloat about. Especially when Hutchinson is the third string goalie...

How many times this year have we said after a loss. Not worried played well. Can't keep saying that. Oilers deserved probably 1 of 4.... and got 3.

Need to build a lead in division to rest people at the end of the before the playoffs.

These are all in division games it's not like every other year.

Does it really matter? I don't see the Flames or Nucks going on a winning streak anytime soon. Our playoff position doesn't really matter, and to be honest I think Montreal is a better team than the Oilers and the Jets.

Quite incredible that the Leafs are like 4-6-1 in their last eleven and still lead the division with 2 points and a game in hand.
Hutch got us a point. I think the team are playing better and the offence are coming.

It's more incredible how we've played to get that record IMO than the fact were still up.

Scary that our season hinges on Jack and Freddy getting/staying healthy the rest of the way.

If there are doubts in both of them, they will make a goalie trade. It is not that expensive to get a guy like Ullmark. Shouldn't even cost us a 2nd round pick.

Hutch wasn't even bad for a third string goalie, they had so many chances to end and choked them all.

Good performance, but the other team got bounces and had other people on skates playing for them. It happens. Move on.
6-1-2 is fantastic.

We got a point, 6-1-2 vs. Oilers.. that’s pretty damn good and we were so close to winning this one too. All is well. Goalie situation is a bit of a concern going into the deadline but I’m liking Chucky in the top 6. I think if we can trade for another forward with some size (help out Simmonds a little) and hands and some goalie depth, we’ll look good down the stretch here and into the playoffs. Let’s Go!

We’ve got one it looks like in Gally...if the guy is committed he still went 3rd overall in his draft year and he looks motivated playing with JT and Willy

He's been good, but isn't going to be enough to fix the offensive problems

I'm ok with this OT loss. Took 3 of 4 Oilers gained no ground and 2 games burnt off the schedule. Smith played great and Hutch was not awful. First 1 was a softy but the Leafs played a sound D game. I'm good

Oilers board is hilarious - they're celebrating like they won the cup. Near suicidal would have been a thing of beauty to see their board meltdown if we would have bagged the OT winner. Definitely have an inferiority complex over there

I thought the Leafs dominated the majority of that game. Smith was really good for the Oilers. Hutchinson wasn't bad but he wasn't as good or busy.

Brodie had a real bad game. First that botched attempt at keeping the puck in on the first goal and then being overpowered by Yamamoto on the tying goal.

Did not care for Matthews letting McDavid get away from him in OT. Quit skating backwards and hightail it back and just stick to him like glue.

Not too broken up about this one for some reason. But the 70+% Win-O-Meter losses are getting reeeeally old.
