Matthews should have went right too nurse, that 2 second delay left him wide open for that pass.
I'm OK with this loss. It's really just finishing that we are having issues with... it can't be luck, it's been going on for far to long to blame on bad luck.

Well, all in all 6-1-2 on the season series against the Oilers is pretty damn good. Frustrating tonight because we deserved a better fate.

Time for Winnipeg. Hope the team cuts out the 2nd period struggle going forward.
Loved the Marner and Matthews goals. Tavares line was going and nice to see. Positive signs heading into Winnipeg.
Hopefully Campbell is good to go. Hutchinson was good in relief.

Of all the teams in the playoff hunt, I think Montreal would be the most dangerous for the Leafs.

I think we should have won but Hutch was pretty solid.
He could just keep it shit simple and take away the pass but he can't even do that.

Leafs are weathering a stretch where they can't seem to buy a goal. Thought they pretty handily out-chanced Edmonton but it didn't matter in the end.
I am hoping we get them in the first round. If not, I am cheering for them to make it to the second so we can face them. That team has 0 depth.
Tonight, I am just glad we got a point. With Hutch in net, I had no hope even though we dominated them for basically the whole game.

title pretty much says it all, we got average goaltending they got great goaltending. Hutch didn't giveup a bad goal but he didn't make a great save either.
