Guys... Hutch wasn't even that bad. I didn't see the first goal but the second goalie was a lucky bounce that no one saves. Third goal was a 2 on 1 which is a high danger chance that Rielly and Matthews played poorly. Just needed more offense.

I can't believe how stupidly he played that. Trying to hold up McDavid rather than just turning around and booking it back to the d-zone was just... dumbfounding to watch.

Tonight, I am just glad we got a point. With Hutch in net, I had no hope even though we dominated them for basically the whole game.

Ya, they ride or die with hot top line games. There's also no 3 on 3 in the playoffs so gotta think that their chances would get worse if it goes to overtime in a playoff game and McDrai has 25 minutes logged at the end of regulation.

Honestly we dominated them. Their goalie was better than ours. Story of the season. Not that Hutch play bad, he gave us a shot to win, but we need Campbell and Andersen to both get healthy.

Yeah I find it hard to fault Hutchinson. He wasn’t putrid like against Ottawa and gave the boys a chance to win, which is really all you can ask for from a 3rd stringer.

Dubas needs to trade for another goalie. If Campbell can’t reliably handle a starter load and Andersen isn’t healthy we’re f***ed come the playoffs.

Quite incredible that the Leafs are like 4-6-1 in their last eleven and still lead the division with 2 points and a game in hand.
Hutch got us a point. I think the team are playing better and the offence are coming.

Big time, The Oilers are a garbage team. If the Leafs can get good goaltending out of Campbell or Andersen, we will f***ing kill the Oilers in a playoff series. It will be an easy sweep.


After this game, I see right through that Edmonton Oilers team! They are a weak fragile team. Shut McDavid down, get some saves your goalie and it is an easy win.

If Reilly ever lost his skating and slow down he would be a terrible D. Soft in his own zone, no shot just shoot muffins, can't play 2 on 1. His skating makes him look better than he is.

I don't think he is worth a huge contract when he is up. He is a guy you say thanks for everything but move on from. Sandin can do everything he can do at a fraction of the cost. He can't shoot the puck on the PP so teams play off him and in the cross seam taking away Marner to Matthews. Put a guy who can shoot on the PP and watch things open up. I rather Brodie be on the top unit.
