If the other teams are asking for Pearson, Toffoli, or a #1 pick to trade for Richards. The kings should just keep him, and try to turn him into a left wing.

You think MR is depressed about this or doesn't care because he still takes in almost 6 million?

I'm sure he still cares a lot. Mike's a character guy through and through. I'm sure this was a bit of a blow to his ego, because I know he still wants to win at the highest level. I hope he finds his game down there, because even if he hasn't been that great as of late, this team really doesn't feel the same without him. I sure as **** haven't noticed Shore out there at all in his handful of games...

I'm sure some part of him is like 'yay i'm set for life' money wise, but the guy is so competitive this has to be killing him. I'm not sure 'depressed' is the word I'd use though I guess it's possible he could be that before rising back up, but 'give up' is not in these guys' vocabularies. See: Martin Brodeur. Even despite his play, MR doesn't strike me as a guy to just throw his hands in the air and walk away, especially when 20+ of his best friends are on the other coast playing their ***** off. He knows he CAN come back. He has something to prove. We should all hope he can do it.

RP, can you photoshop MR's face in the middle of that?

I dont think so, he's leaving all of his friends that he's grown to love and being sent down to the minors. If I was Mike I would be feeling down in the dumps, hopefully he plays well in Manchester and gets called back up. If Mike is gone for an extended period of time you gotta think Jeff will become "depressed".

Maybe Mike will get back to having fun playing hockey. He looked beat down and worn out playing 4th line minutes.

He needs to enjoy coming to the rink again, A lot of pressure will be taken off him playing in the AHL.

No one is exactly expecting a ton of him. No one should anyway.

The guy has to change his game, that is going to take adjustments and time sadly.
