The solution to this problem is to change our draft strategy - from now on we only pick incels.
Karlsson still follows Hoffman on twitter and vice versa
"The application for a peace bond, sworn in front of Justice of the Peace Louise Logue on May 4"
... huh, May 4.
Team has known about this for over a month.
The main trade board has hoards of people condemning Mike Hoffman. No one wants to allow him to stand by his GF and many think he is just as quilty as her. ..
Well I am going camping/fishing for a week .. I am going to unplug and hopefully some of these things get closer to resolved in the meantime.
10 years from now:You realize you're gonna come back and this team will have been moved to Barbados or something.
You are demanding Dorion be fired because he didn't publicly discuss the private affairs of his employees?
The Randy Lee thing could easily be Eugene influencing the organization, especially since Eugene appears to have paid for his legal representation.
Hoffman should have been traded well before things came to this.
Also anyone else find it funny that Dorion didn't miss an opportunity to get in front of cameras last year when things were going well, but absolute radio silence this season.
Weeks after captain Erik Karlsson had a face-to-face parking lot confrontation with teammate Mike Hoffman over a belief Hoffman’s fiancée, Monika Caryk, was guilty of unthinkable harassment of his wife, the matter wasn’t settled.
People are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law in this country & I'm not sure that employees can't be fired or suspended before they are proven guilty for an offence outside the workplace, although in Lee's case he may have still been on the clock. I assume they could be given a leave of absence with pay until the case(s) are before the courts & a ruling is made & then based on that ruling an employer can act for or against an employee.
This franchise needs to clean house from top to bottom much, much sooner rather than later just for the public optics, if they have any wish to stay viable within this market. I would guess that one of EK or Hoffman are moved as soon as possible, if not both & if possible. If Lee is found guilty, I assume he makes a public apology & most likely they should probably fire him or at the least send him to counselling, if not, there will certainly be a backlash over that.
apparently karlsson and hoffman had a parking lot confrontation
