I highly doubt that. Maybe down the road he will fetch a good return if this story fades away, but as of today I don't think any team would touch him let alone give up significant assets for him.

People are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law in this country & I'm not sure that employees can't be fired or suspended before they are proven guilty for an offence outside the workplace, although in Lee's case he may have still been on the clock. I assume they could be given a leave of absence with pay until the case(s) are before the courts & a ruling is made & then based on that ruling an employer can act for or against an employee.

This franchise needs to clean house from top to bottom much, much sooner rather than later just for the public optics, if they have any wish to stay viable within this market. I would guess that one of EK or Hoffman are moved as soon as possible, if not both & if possible. If Lee is found guilty, I assume he makes a public apology & most likely they should probably fire him or at the least send him to counselling, if not, there will certainly be a backlash over that.

Alot of assumptions still being made...seems one thing is certain in that the sickening harassment went down for a long time and was extreme, Hoffman his GF and the orgs specific knowledge is all up in the air at the moment. Some of the proof people have dug up is really suspect.

I had some hope with talks of a new owner, but now Hoffman is probably gone at the draft or soon after, and we will very possibly lose EK for way less than he's actually worth. Brutal this became public. I think you can understand why I held back the specifics a month or so ago. Hoffman's trade value has now officially plummeted, because no GM is going to want to bring him (and his girl friend) into their locke rroom and market, with this is such front page. The players on a new team a coach and GM could basically work around via direct communications. But a new team's players' wives and fans will want nothing to do with him until this is resolved. And GM's know this.

The Karlsson's hired a forensic expert on digital media to isolate who was doing the posting. Given the nature of some of the posts, they had a feeling it was someone that knew them and had access. Thus the direct accusations, because it was isolated to Hoff's place in Westboro (could a neighbour or some other sleuth have used their WiFi? Perhaps. But 1000's of posts? Possible but unlikely).

The Hoffman's have hired their own forensic digital expert to disprove the allegations.

It's definitely odd if she's using nicks that are basically her name and it's one of the things that makes this case such a quagmire. Is she being set up? Or is she doing it to be able to claim she's being set up? Or is she just such a nut? If the Karlssons have tracked it to their IP though, faking that seems something beyond the plausibility of some random troll or ex-GF. Still, if the girlfriend is denying it to Hoff, it's not weird for him to stand by her, except for one thing - if you're with somebody for ten years you should know whether she's a duplicitous bitch or not. That is a relationship that cannot coexist on the same team come September. A small shred of hope now is that when Hoffman is moved Karlsson is not following him but that hope fades exponentially with a story like this.

well.. how long did dorion know? thats the key... if dorion was fully aware of what was going down and how the karlsson's felt and who was suspected.. sorry but ridding yourself of hoffman and his girl is a fairly easy decision.
