I'm looking at the Series S instead of upgrading to a PS5 from a PS3 as I've become a casual gamer the older I've gotten and I know all I'll be playing is FIFA/NHL/maybe Rugby or NBA and beat 2-3 games an year if I'm lucky. Maybe sometime around Black Friday or Boxing Day if there's a bundle or just more on the used market.
I'll miss out on games like Red Dead and Spiderman but meh it seems like the lineup for XBox is more than enough to keep a gamer busy these days.
I am wondering in this case though if you're only playing a few sports games an year then would it be more economical to just buy the other ones when they go on sale or to pay $140 or whatever it is per year for GamePass?
