Nemeth is absolutely horrible, he isn't the solution to any problem in any universe.
I can respect thisBy the way, I don’t really care about matchups in the playoffs, I want to win the Metro.
But in general, am I wrong? Rangers products get ten times the leeway.
Again, I like him as a prospect but going with quality, proven NHL players in Nemeth and Braun is a no-brainer for me.
Give Nemeth a chance with established NHL partners. He hasn't had that at all.
He's had two rookies, Tinordi, and Hajek. He's being evaluated completely unfairly.
They're different. Being top 2 picks sort of gives them that free agent shine. But they're also Rangers products. I think they've been evaluated pretty fairly. What about Laf and Kakko?
Those are the eyes of a guy who has seen some real shit
He's still only 22. Ok, so maybe he's a 25-30 point 3rd line type guy. Gauthier is a 13th/14th type guy and nothing more. It's pretty obvious.Chytil is in his D+5. There's no more hope. This is him.
I thought there were 12 games left? With tonight's win we now have the same # of wins and points with 9 games to go as we did at the end of the season we went to the SCF.
Need 8 wins and 17 points (so undefeated in regulation) to match the President's Trophy year
All I'm saying is, try Nemeth with a partner who isn't:Nemeth is absolutely horrible, he isn't the solution to any problem in any universe.
Let me guess:All I'm saying is, try Nemeth with a partner who isn't:
-20
-Ass
-Libor Hajek
Out of 56 games, he's had exactly one in the above scenario. In that one game, he posted and xGF% of 68.85 (almost nice).
And he also had covid.
I thought there were 12 games left?
I came in here in a good mood
Almost!Let me guess:
-20: Lundkvist
Ass: Tinordi
Libor Hajek: Braden Schneider
Did I get it right?
Bad luck. Liverpool won today.I came in here to kill your good mood
Damn, that last one really has me stumped!Almost!
Bad luck. Liverpool won today.
But you picked Nemeth as your hill to die on. You're strange.I came in here in a good mood

I can understand if we're approaching it just from the angle of getting our young players playoff time.Sure, for many on here they can get like that, I totally agree. I've cheered for the team too long to hate all free agents.
Schneider is 100% on my opening roster for playoffs. I want all our kids that will be part of us going forward getting a real taste of playoff hockey.
I'm fine with Nemeth and Braun trading slots until Schneider shows he needs a break.
Again, he has had ONE game where he didn't have a rookie, Tinordi, Hajek, and/or covid. But you picked Nemeth as your hill to die on. You're strange.
What you do in this scenario is you trade him then replace his small production by signing someone a bit older and more expensive with the same amount of points. There's nothing wrong with a late 1st topping out as a 30-35pt 3rd liner, which is where I think Chytil ends up. It's a question of whether you keep someone like around or move him in the hope that you can find something extra somewhere else.
I still think his best spot is on the wing, but it's hard to really see where he fits in the NYR lineup going forward, especially as he'll be expecting some kind of raise after next season
It doesn't matter I have been told.Schneider changed the momentum of that game. What a f***ing beast.
