But in general, am I wrong? Rangers products get ten times the leeway.

Again, I like him as a prospect but going with quality, proven NHL players in Nemeth and Braun is a no-brainer for me.

Give Nemeth a chance with established NHL partners. He hasn't had that at all.

He's had two rookies, Tinordi, and Hajek. He's being evaluated completely unfairly.

What about Laf and Kakko?

Nemeth is absolutely horrible, he isn't the solution to any problem in any universe.
All I'm saying is, try Nemeth with a partner who isn't:

-20
-Ass
-Libor Hajek

Out of 56 games, he's had exactly one in the above scenario. In that one game, he posted and xGF% of 68.85 (almost nice).

And he also had covid.

There's nothing wrong with a late 1st topping out as a 30-35pt 3rd liner, which is where I think Chytil ends up. It's a question of whether you keep someone like around or move him in the hope that you can find something extra somewhere else.
I still think his best spot is on the wing, but it's hard to really see where he fits in the NYR lineup going forward, especially as he'll be expecting some kind of raise after next season

Let me guess:

-20: Lundkvist
Ass: Tinordi
Libor Hajek: Braden Schneider

Did I get it right?

Sure, for many on here they can get like that, I totally agree. I've cheered for the team too long to hate all free agents.

Schneider is 100% on my opening roster for playoffs. I want all our kids that will be part of us going forward getting a real taste of playoff hockey.

I'm fine with Nemeth and Braun trading slots until Schneider shows he needs a break.

I can understand if we're approaching it just from the angle of getting our young players playoff time.

Granted, if we win, they get more.

Can we just all agree that Nemeth is a veteran partner away from a Norris? It's been very unfair of GG to pair him with more talented players for most of the year.

What you do in this scenario is you trade him then replace his small production by signing someone a bit older and more expensive with the same amount of points.
