Just when you think the Lions can’t find a new way to lose they prove you wrong.
They really are the undisputed champs at this.
Just when you think the Lions can’t find a new way to lose they prove you wrong.
Just when you think the Lions can’t find a new way to lose they prove you wrong. Officials miss a delay of game, and the Ravens kick a NFL record 66 yard field goal that bounces off the crossbar and in. Unreal.
While the Lions continue to Lion, I'm still a Stafford fan. Happy to see him having success so far. And beating Brady today was a chef's kiss. Go Rams this year.
Pistons media day today.
@Ed Ned and Leddy - What rotation (starters and reserves) do you want to see on opening night?
I want to start Cade, Saddiq, Jerami and Isaiah for sure. I'm not big on starting Killian right away at the beginning. I kind of want someone who is ready to attack the paint and/or can shoot from the outside. So I'm leaning towards Diallo or Frank Jackson.
And then off the bench I'm thinking Cory Joseph, Killian, Diallo/Frank Jackson, Olynyk and then I guess Lyles. Josh Jackson will probably get minutes though somehow even though I'd rather he didn't.
Looked pretty good to meEarly impression is that the Wolverines may have a Cade McNamara problem. He looks completely ineffective throwing the ball
Looked pretty good to me
Well when you watch through maize and blue glasses, everything looks good, I’m sure.
I like to think I’m pretty objective, and one pass isn’t going to change my opinion. He’s routinely lacked precision. Throws behind crossing routes, passes making it hard for receivers to turn up field, opting for dump offs in longer yardage situations.
He can improve yet, but you can tell that he hasn’t been asked to throw much to this point. The execution isn’t there so far.
I wouldn’t say he has been completely ineffective, especially for his first true road start. McNamara has moved the chains on a couple throws, and that flea flicker was a perfect pass.
Having said that there is definitely room for improvement, especially on the crossing routes like you said. Michigan has to run the ball better in the 2nd half, the offensive line is not getting a push off the line of scrimmage. Go Blue!
That was also against one of the best defenses in the country, on the road, in a stadium they havent won at in 20 years. I think McNamara missed some throws and he isnt amazing (JJ might be though...), but I also think some people watch college and expect to see NFL level passing on every team too.
Either way, thats a pretty big statement win by Michigan against a solid team. The talk on 97.1 all week was how Michigan will probably lose because Wisco is good, I'll be interested to hear people talk about how Wisconsin just isnt that good now lol

Badger fan stepping in to say Wisco is hot garbage. I'll gladly share my texts with my brother from 2 weeks ago saying as much. That defense that is one of the "best" got shredded by a pedestrian Notre Lame team.
I take nothing away from UM's game today, they executed as they should have against the level of competition they faced. Sorry, but that was far from a statement win. When you face a team that has routinely curb-stomped you and beat them when they've dipped to lower MAC level, it is not that impressive.
Notre dame didn’t shred them but yeah Wisco isn’t a good team this year.
Wisco outgained ND.
Even without the two pick sixes, ND still hung 17 points on them in 4th quarter. You can can subscribe to your version of shredding, but that exposed them as paper Badgers.
They also got a kick return they only got 10 points on the defense in the 4th. And they really only scored because the offense was pure garbage and gave them good FP. Wisconsin didn’t allow 250 yards. They’re a good defensive team but the offense is really really bad.
Rutgers held UM to nearly 100 yards less than the Badgers did. And, I've watched all the Badgers games and haven't been amazed. I'll have to rely on your word Bucky has a good defense.

A statement win is beating a team that most people think you don't have a chance of beating.Wow, what is your definition of a statement win, taking home the national title? Michigan was 2-4 last year, have not won in Madison since 2001, and were the underdog. I repeat, your “hot garbage” Wisconsin team was favored. It was a statement win.
