I think Buffalo is the team we are going to have to jump and they might have a worse schedule than us ahead of them.
Yup. Said it was Buffalo that we need to catch two weeks ago. I think it's us and them for the 8th spot.

And Geez I'd like to play Boston.

I hope we make it this year we have a real shot but if not its okay because I have a feeling that the Sens next season will be the NJD of this season

Definitely nice to be playing some meaningful games. While I don't see us making up the ground (it's a tough schedule and I tend to be glass half empty when it comes to my hockey expectations).

But I love that we are actually playing well and not just giving up!

A single loss, or a single win from Pitts/Flo, drops them from the 2% they’re currently sitting, to less than 1%.

They’re extremely close to being eliminated, all but mathematically done.

Team never recovered from going out west, but those losses in Chicago and Vancouver really felt like the end on the heels of a 5 game winning streak…you just knew this team didn’t have it in them if they could be routed by the worst team in the league…

The Vancouver game was the end imo. Chicago you could call an anomaly, but then Vancouver was the nail in the coffin
Then, if you really want to delve, Calgary was the final nail.

It wasn't just the losses either, it was the way they were losing. They basically laid 3 or 4 eggs in a 5 game stretch and weren't even in the games. You could tell they were done.

Ya, meaningful games ended a while ago imo, but they were fun while they lasted. Vancouver loss felt like it sealed the deal.
They were fun for about 5 games and then the complete debacles in Chicago and Vancouver really killed the positive vibe.

For some of us.. there are hangers on
What became obvious was the team was being pulled along by BT, Timmy and CG. If they had an off night no one else could prop up the team.

Sorry to be vague, but I saw a post on twitter a few days ago (can't find it now) where some random said the Sens will be announcing something big at the game on March 30th. Anyone hear anything about that or did I get punked?

edit: found it
