This is the same network that had McDonagh as an extra D-man on team USA and doesn't know that a shootout win is worth 1 point. I'd call them a bunch of clowns, but I'd be doing a disservice to clowns.
 
anyone know when the official schedule will be released? I know Rangers start Thursday but I am trying to figure out when Game 5 will potentially be. Thanks!

I could see this. Interesting thought. He has been pretty engaged lately and seems to have a chiponhisshoulder. Indeed.

Saturday or Sunday. From what I've been reading via beat writers and such seems people think it will be the Easter Sunday game.

Schedule will be released at some point today supposedly.
 
If nash and st.louis breakout in the playoffs we will be tough to beat. Im not worried about the flyers. In the two losse had to them one time we were missing a lot of guys and the second loss we gave away. The other two games we gave them a beating
 
The longer gaps between games, the earlier Kreider can come back.

While I'm very pleased with Fast and certainly at this point, prefer to keep him in the lineup, outside of his last, very minor stint, his two previous ones were impressive.

He had lots of chances scored a couple points, etc. His defense leaves something to be desired, which is why I certainly prefer Fast over him in the playoffs, but to say that he hasn't earned the chance....I think the kid had a nice growth season with us.

He looked significantly different his last few stints vs. when he started the season with us.

The only major concern for me was the comments by AV. Not sure what went down there.
 
A few thoughts...

Is Diaz or Moore going to play?

I'd go with Diaz for game 1. Really it doesn't matter because in a close game the Rangers will drop to 4 or 5 defenseman with Diaz or Moore not playing. The thing is, Moore played really well in the playoffs last year. I'm not sure that matters to the Rangers staff now but it's worth remembering Moore is capable of playing well in playoff games.

Will Carcillo or Fast play game 1?

I'd go with Carcillo over Fast but I think AV goes with Fast for game 1.

If I'm AV i preach to the Rangers to turn the other cheek in this series. Don't retaliate, don't play into the trap the Flyers are going to try to set in game 1. The Rangers can't try to be a team they aren't. Make the Flyers pay on the power play.

Sather should be on the phone with the league screaming that they need to watch the Flyers carefully near the crease. Plant the seed with the officials BEFORE the series starts. Honestly, if you were the Flyers wouldn't your strategy be bump Lundqvist every chance you get? That's what I would do.
 
Rangers in 6 my prediction. I feel really good about this series. Really curious to see how the team steps up, and particularly how Brass' line plays.
 
As long as the Rangers stay away from getting baited by the dirty sphincters that are Simmonds, Hartnell B. Schenn we should take this series.

The more we do not react to their tactics, the more they try to bait us.

The NYR PP HAS to click.

Catalyst for the series? My opinion? Marty St. Louis. He's going to have room as the Flyers D is pretty bad

Really, this. Just skate circles around them. Their D is laughably slow and inefficient. If they don't get Mason back this could get even uglier for them. If we play into their physicality, we will be out in 6.

I expect to see repeats of our 4-1 win against them earlier this year. That's what happens when we don't respond to Philly's garbage antics.
