McDavid heating up, what are odds on 150 points this season?

Meh. Laugh all you want this is why he won’t come close to 150. You really cannot afford to have 1 point on a night

Math must be hard, a 2 points per game rate means 164 points in 82 games... You definitelly can afford a1 point per game night and reach 150. Actually you can have few more....
Especially when you follow it up with a 4 point night…

One more point needed to make it 60 in 30. Really curious to know who else has maintained 2 PPG this long into the season since 2000ish.

Stop with the lies! Math is tricky

He had 1 point last night and 4 tonight so... I believe that's 5 in 2 games. According to my calculations looks like Jordan was right you can't have 1 point games

The Oilers PP from 2019 to today is by far the best PP of the cap era and arguably the strongest PP of all time. McDavid and Draisaitl deserve insane credit for running that -- the defenceman (Barrie, Bouchard, Klefbom) and the net-front guy (Hyman, Chiasson, Kane, Neal, Puljujarvi) have been completely replaceable. Pulling those results with just two superstars is absurd.

The low PPO era has arguably kept down McDavid's dominance, with more penalties being called this season McDavid's dominance will be even higher than it was before. Hi

As mentioned Lemieux in 1995-96, though Lemieux in 2002-03 had 60 in 33 when the rest of the top scorers were even further behind in points per game and that was Lemieux at 37.

Crosby in 2006-07 had 55 in his first 31 and a pretty big gap over the rest in points per game but not as much as Lemieux.
