GDT: May 5 • Slovakia vs. Slovenia

Well, we don't have Shinkansen or TGV here, but it's not that bad IMO. Skoda is producing some fast trains and Pendolino is operating between the major cities. We have one of the biggest rail densities in Europe since 50's so that's maybe the reason why it seems to be so slow.. too many trains. :laugh:

You mean for Sparta? Well, he can be a terriffic player. But playoff is a different story, you need to add smth more to your game and he didnt. As Jandac said, he still need a lot to learn. I bet thats also the reason Vujtek wasnt that convinced about him. On this level you need to play hockey as you guys now doing in third period. Not sure if he is already able to do it......
 
It's sad how far the Slovaks have fallen from where they were in 2000-2006.

They're struggling to beat crappy teams in shootouts, overtime and now in the third period.

It's not like Slovakia is making it to the play-offs ortoo far in them. :laugh: Reway was already useful to us at this level last year when he was a year younger and played juniors.

I'm gonna give Vujtek a bit of credit, good choice to put Gaborik with Hudacek, one of the few creative players on this team.

Yeah dude, I had to. This is do or die match for hardworking Slovenians and they simply don't deserve to be beaten by your ******-ass team.

It's just the fans putting pressure, look at that building, it's better atmosphere than in any hockey game anywhere this year. Also Slovenia playing trap whole game defending one goal lead.. then moving the nets off ect ain't just gonna go trough, even if you make it look like accident. If the refs are sure they can call it, but the second call was bad, the tripping. It was too much just after other penalty.

Now when slovenia can't just play trap this game is much better for last minutes.
