GDT: May 5 • Slovakia vs. Slovenia

You had basically three free PP before you tied it. Of course you dont see it since you cheer for one of the teams.
 
When someone pots a replay of it where its very clear than I will admit it, but then that would make it 2-1 on bad calls, clearly not a bias.
 
You got your makeup call on Tatar when Music got thrown out. Then a slew of biased calls. Good job, you needed the refs to beat little Slovenia.
 
not really sure what some of the Slovenians in this thread are implying? ... its not like Slovakia has any say on what gets called a penalty and what doesn't.

Officiating at the IIHF tournaments has a repurtation of being horrible and we have been on the recieving side plenty of times.
 
If slovakian team is so bad then some one please beat it, lol it has won all it's games including this. It's not like its slovaks fault if the refs blow some bad calls, besides Slovenians were playing trap for the whole game since 1-0. It's not like they were some kind of heroes being better here.

The win streak is alive. Slovakia, still undefeated in this tourney, is now second in the group.
 
LOL that was a rather funny EN goal.

Embarassing game, embarassing win, not much more to say.

Jan Lasak was not too far away from a heart attack in every one of these last few games.
 
Feel for Slovenia here. Sounded like they worked their ***** off for this game. Hope they pick up some points as they don't deserve to down to Div 1 with these sorts of performances.

When Laco fauled the Slovenian and instead Slovenian got 2min I called it an awful call, look back in the thread. No ignorance here, I admit it when I see it, I did not see it in the 3rd period. I'll admit it if I see it, so looking forward to someone posting a replay. Still, that would make it 1 extra bad call against Slovenia, how on earth someone sees that as bias?

Slovakia didn't beat Denmark or Belarus until OT and they were struggling massively in this game. Doesn't bode well for them.

This. Mário Bližňák got a 2 minute penalty for the fact that Sergei Kostitsyn was pushing into Slovak players in our last game.

The main difference between this and the Olympics game was that Ján Laco is more reliable than Halák on the NT.
 
We took the Sochi game, you took this one. at least our game is improving this tournament. Well played Slovaks :)

Yeah, but hockey is game where you have chance to raise your level between games alot. These results aren't just similair to Finlands silver team last year, they are better. Finland went to OT against Latvia and Kazhakstan and lost to some one like norway or denmark. Got in the medal rounds by 1 point and went to Finals..

It's too early to say anything, as long as they take the points they need, they could get their play going. Gabby scoring a good goal there, could get him going, and Tatar could get his scoring going as well.

Exactly. Slovenia no where near controlled this game.
 
Yet again, two awful period by Slovaks, showing up only for the third. Far from pleased from what I seen from us this tournament, but 3 wins are 3 wins. I expect some beatings in the following games.

Wait till Saturday. Your own ****ing team will beat them by 4 or more. Mark my words.
 
Slovenia did not control this game? Until the slew of biased ref calls we were BETTER than the slovaks. Kept them in their third for considerable amounts of time. Go rewatch the damn game.
