Just as I thought, Brodie pushes Tkachuk off-balance which causes Matty to fall. Complete non-issue. Thanks for the video evidence.

No one thinks he didn't fall, the issue is that he drove his knee into him while doing it. Look at how much faster his leg drives down compared to the fall. That was intentional and it was a cheap and dirty move.

How do you have 10.6k messages and only 333 likes?

Anyways .. this thread has lost its shine. Calgary fans .. I do want to congratulate you. You came in a group of 3-4, liked and double downed on any pro Tkachuk message. Just repeated the same illogical garbage over and over and over again. You did a good job imo. Struck to it. Didnt falter or splinter.

I will enjoy when the roles are reversed where a flame is on the receiving end of an "accidentally on purpose" move and you 3 call for blood against an opposing player.

Well done. Sincerely.

They have pressure readers under the ice, so they could calculate if Matt Tkachuck put extra force into Campbell’s back. Maybe the ice was extra slow, because calgary knows they can’t handle the Leafs speed, which caused Matt to fall.

The lowly Nucks just embaressed one of the teams that beat you this season. What was the excuse for the loss against the lowly Senators?

1967, unless you were alive and saw that great cup parade, wait until you actually see a Stanley Cup parade or just win a damn playoff series before you start chirping other fan bases.

54 damn years man... NO playoff success in 16 years... man that is pathetic.
What is pathetic is how you think that is at all relevant to hockey today or the current discussion

I would say it's more of a hook. But you can quite plainly see Brodie dig into Tkachuk's legs multiple times with his stick using both arms. On the last dig, Brodie scoops Tkachuk up at the ankles/lower shins causing Tkachuk's knees to go down.

As stated Brodie is a professional athlete and quite strong.

Inconclusive?

Not sure what that word means?

Here's the Oxford Dictionary definition...

in·con·clu·sive
/ˌinkənˈklo͞osiv/
adjective
  1. not leading to a firm conclusion; not ending doubt or dispute.

No I know the definition. I just don't think that was the place to use it.

Are you really suggesting there's a difference between knee and shin? UFC fighters and Muay Thai fighters use their shins all the time. Either way, I say it's his knee so meh, moot point. Shouldn't even have said it to let you guys move goalposts.
UFC and Thai fighters don't wear protective helmets. Goalies do. You need new glasses if you keep insisting Tkachuk's knee came down on Campbell's head. It didn't... whether you look at just a still picture or watch the whole video.

To let an argument be and move on is a sign of maturity. I find any old dog can bark the loudest and the longest but that doesn't mean they are right or wrong just that they can bark the loudest and longest.

For everybody arguing about whether it was deliberate. Campbell's leg is hurt, so Tkachuk had nothing to do with it.

Give me a break.

The guy got cross-checked from behind and knocked off his feet. To think that he would be in complete control of his body after that is ludicrous. To think that there would even be enough time for him to THINK about deliberately dropping a knee on someone is a reach, let alone enough time to execute such thought.

You're fukin blind. Lol how did he gtmet crosschecked?

If you had watched the game, he was hurt with about 3 minutes left. It was easily apparent to everyone, including Tkachuk, as he struggled to recover from saves and grimaced. This would not be the first time a player was aware of an opponent's injuries and tried to take him out of the game entirely. Should Campbell have come out as soon as he injured himself? Yes. Thankfully Tkachuk's attempt didn't cause more injury. Players have been suspended for actions which didn't result in injuries.

Just checking in. Anyone other than the Tkachuk haters in this thred making a big deal about this yet? Leafs Org still not defending their player over this dirty, suspension worthy play? Unconscionable. Nothing from the team, nothing from the league, nothing from former players. If only the hockey world could see what everyone in here sees, amirite?
Are you blaming the Leafs for not defending Tkachuk?

f*** me, the Leafs get blamed for everything.

They also wear gloves and not a rock hard material over their hands
