Very happy for Poitras. Seems like such a great, mature and smart kid. Lot of fun to watch, lot of talent, high IQ especially for one so young.

I wish the Bergeron family had room, going to be a very similar experience for Poitras, except Potsy seems less shy than the 18 year old Patrice, but might be just French vs English speaking, maybe Danton needs a housemate

Didn’t even know Carlo was married nevermind a kid too. Missed that one. Seems like he has a lot of options and who wouldn’t mind a built in babysitter too lol

Bergy said he always wanted to pay forward what Lapointe did for him, and I'm fairly certain I read that when they moved out to the suburbs they built their house with an extra room to be able to do that. Poitras would seem to be a great candidate. Great news. Poitras will have his ups and downs. But as long as his effort and stamina remains consistent.... this is a great fast track opportunity.

Because he's 19 and in a new city with a whole lot more money and time on his hand. Living with another more established player will help show him the ropes and help him get acclimated so he can eventually live on his own.

This is Carlo's 8th year in the NHL, so he absolutely has the vet vibe now.
Plus, he absolutely is a goody two shoes, so makes him even a better choice.
The organization realized it was a mistake letting Seguin live on his own in the city as a teenager and I bet they vowed to never let that happen again. Of course, Seguin had a major reputation as a party guy back then, but I am sure it is about more than just curtailing excessive partying.
