How is spooner a bust when he accomplished more than a large majority of 2nd rounders do?

On the same note, TF just played his 200th. Stacks up pretty well against other late late 1st rounders. Yet the b word has been thrown at him too.

I secretly still love Ryan spooner. Hopefully poitras is twice the player.
It will be interesting to see how he does getting top 6 minutes. I'm hoping he gets his first goal.

Those 3 wackos know absolutely nothing but always act like they are in the know. Literally whatever the opposite of what they say is usually true.
As for Poitras, my friend is a Capitals fan and they have a guy called Protas on their team and I'm going to be messing the two of them up

Didn't get an assist but was the guy who made the first goal vs SJS happen: end of a shift, could have just dumped in over centre, but instead carried it deep and then found the point before going off. A few passes later on the cycle it is 1-0
He makes smart plays often, his anticipation of how a play can develop is off the charts for a young guy.
I will say like most of the team he was just so so last night
It was the only good play he made. He was caved in the rest of the game basically.
He is in for a rough game on Saturday because LA has Kopitar-Dubois -Danault
down the middle. Wouldn't be shocked if he plays wing because those are
mismatches in LA's favor.
Anaheim will be a much better matchup for him.

Mathew poitras is so much better. Spooner was into his 20s when he played in the nhl for the first time. He was lost with out the puck. Looks like spooner has found his game in the khl.

I have a feeling if he doesn’t produce much, even while playing decent, is they send him past to Jrs and sign Henien. There is a reason they have Henien hanging around the team without being signed. Last game was the start. Monty booted him from center and then sat him near the end of the game. One more game like that no doubt they’ll use it as the excuse. Must add much more pressure to the kid knowing Henien is hanging with them on the road trip.
