Why? Our bottom 6 was brutal last year. There the guys that need to be replaced.

Bottom 6 guys are still under contract.

I'm with you there, I always thought it was the best 4th line in the NHL with him. But now, with Johnston what hole does he fill?

People are being a little ridiculous over these signings.

Our bottom 6 last year was a DISASTER. Probably the worst in the NHL

Now our bottom 6 looks like this:

Ladd - Filppula - Komarov
Martin - Cizikas - Clutterbuck (Kuhnackle)

Not only is that bottom 6 about 10x better than last season but they are also defensively responsible.

Just because we addressed our bottom 6 doesn't mean we aren't going after a 2C, D, and G. Not to mention one of Clutterbuck/Cizikas could be going back in a trade. Sure the big needs haven't been addressed yet but this bottom 6 is a HUGE HUGE improvement over last season.

Until we trade for Crosby to replace Judas or better; this is how each move is going to be scrutinized.

I elect that we improve the team and not try and replace the player. Penalty Kill has improved, bottom 6/depth has improved. Now we should focus on goaltending and defense.

I just want him to be the avatar of destruction for my frustration. I don't even care who it is. I just want him to Ross The Boss the f*** out of everything on skates. At the end of the game, the ice better be a big bloody mess like something out of Fallout. Just limbs and jawbone fragments everywhere.

We've lost Tavares and upgraded the bottom 6 at the absolute worst. Still think a very big trade is in the works.
