I`m happy for him - maybe he will improve since he feel more responsibility with the A, let us hope so.
About if Zucc get traded or not - it`s not based on letters A, but the age topic and limited cap era related to new contract next year.

It is a well deserved honor for him. Coming in as a undersized undrafted player to this level is something he should really be proud of as a player and a man. I personally didn't want him to have this responsibility but if the coach and players think he is the man for the job....

The answer is both. It is a representative honor but also within the rules only the captains and alternates are supposed to get in to deeper discussions on the ice with the refs as representatives of their teams.

Congrats Zuccha! Long overdue! Only wish that Kreids would get one as I think it would REALLY HELP in getting him to be consistent and more noticeable EVERY GAME. With that said.....this will be the case this year anyway. Kreids will have a monster year.
Can't wait to see that Zuccha smile with the "A".

He remembers the way it was for him when he first arrived as a 23-year-old from Norway for training camp in 2010.

CK or JT Miller would both be good choices in the future.

During AV's interview with Amanda, AV said he went to McD and asked him who he thinks should be given the A. McD said something like Zooks was an obvious choice (can not remember exact wording).
