I am 99.99% sure that was definitely not serious and a reference to someone else proposing that. I would never advocate bringing back Boyle haha
Dan?

I'd love Brian Boyle back..
Not even Brian.
I'd be happy to bring Dan Boyle back into the organization in some capacity so we can have more of this:
Here's your post, btw, it didn't seem to be not serious:

The last four years, the four years he's really been a part of the team and not in Torts sights or russia/ahl, he's been the top point scorer for the Rangers in three of those four years.
I really can't believe people are even mentioning his stats when saying anything negative about Zuccarello. I remember people saying .4 points per game "would be a good deal" when he first started out. This year he was almost .75 points per game.
There really is no doubt he's a tremendous asset for the team, both in the locker room and in terms of production.
And let's not forget he took less money.. on purpose.. so they wouldn't have to trade Stepan. He could get more on another team, but the Rangers got an incredible deal for him.

While its dangerous to assume anything in this business, he has done that in 3 of his last 4 seasons (the fourth being a 50 point season). Barring injury or other unforeseen factors, i'd say that there is little to suggest that he wont do the same thing again...assuming Zucc can still put up 60 points next year.

McDonagh has the C (which I think he deserves for a variety of reasons), but it's clear Zucc is the heart and soul of the team. It's easy to see why so many guys would follow him straight into battle with the effort he lays on the line every game.
Ye i have a feeling Zucc will get an A next season or the season after that depending on what happens with Nash,Staal and Girardi in the summer. Read an article by Dan Rosen last week and he wrote that Hank,Mcdonagh, Girardi, Stepan, Nash and Staal include Zucc in the talks they have together as captains on this team.

Had no idea what we were getting with Zuke when he first joined the organization. Absolutely love everything he brings now. As a fan watching on tv, I get inspired watching how he continuously battles. Can't imagine his teammates feel any different.
Forget Toews. Captain Intangibles = Zuccarello

I had absolutely no idea how Zucc would transition into the NHL when we first signed him. He is the exact kind of player this team needed.
Sort of like a home grown Marty St. Louis
Even back in hockey-barren Norway nobody thought he would get anywhere because of his size. Except that at every level he outworked and outperformed everybody
