As a (devout) Catholic, I believe in miracles. And I really believe tonight !!!!
Never quit on a play…. Wasn’t a good shift by him but he stayed working and ended up with a game winning playFrom sure blame to fame within a few seconds.
I can, because of the fact that Kulikin(?), iced the puckGreat moment, but it was missing the Pierre McGuire treatment. Not quite TAVARES’s magical play!
Well done.Bless my soul
Mac was on a roll
Player of the week in every puck opinion poll
What a pro
Mac could stop a show
Point him at a rink and you're talking SRO
He was a no one
A zero, zero
Now he's a honcho
He's a hero
Here was a kid with his act down pat
From zero to hero in no time flat
Zero to hero just like that (snaps)
When he smiled
The girls went wild with
Oohs and aahs
And they slapped his face
On ev'ry wall
(On ev'ry "wall")
From appearance fees and royalties
Our Mac had cash to burn
Now nouveau riche and famous
He could tell you
What's a Canuck urn?
Say amen
There he goes again
Sweet and undefeated
And an awesome 10 for 10
Folks lined up
Just to watch him flex
And this perfect package
Packed a pair of pretty pecs
Mackie, he comes
He sees, he conquers
Honey, the crowds were
Going bonkers
He showed the moxie brains, and spunk
From zero to hero a major hunk
Zero to hero and who'da thunk
Who put the glad in gladiator?
McTavish!
Whose daring deeds are great theater?
McTavish
Isn't he bold?
No one braver
Is he sweet
Our fav'rite flavor
McTavish, McTavish ...
Bless my soul
Mac was on a roll
Undefeated
Riding high
And the nicest guy
Not conceited
He was a nothin'
A zero, zero
Now he's a honcho
He's a hero
He hit the heights at breakneck speed
From zero to hero
Mac is a hero
Now he's a hero
Yes indeed!
Or NOT bouncing out to the Finnish players hovering?what are the odds of that puck not bouncing in the net...and then to have the poise to not panic and get control of the thing..
I believe it all started here:
Eventually he asked the Ducks to let him go to the WJC. Dude was starving to win
Indeed.Considering the fact it was in OT and the stakes involve, it’s one of the greatest plays in the history of hockey.
Awesome!
Indeed.
Hopefully he has a wonderful career. God bless that kid and his mini-miracle.This guy is a quintessential winner. He’s going to help Anaheim do great things.
Probably one of the best plays I've watched live in hockey. I mean, I thought for sure that was a goal, I had no idea how it could've possibly been kept out without a ridiculous play and when I saw the replay immediately after the game winning goal it surpassed my expectations. Such a deft play, I'll never forget it.
