Do we have the roster for the development camp?

Highlights of Jelsma.

If he can work on his processing ability on the cycle so he can be more than just a hard working forechecker and rush sniper, he could be a very valuable middle-6 piece on both special teams. Even if he doesn't, he can be a center-winger in the bottom 6 who provides PK value.

Definitely my favourite for an ELC.

Scouching would definitely like the invites of tyler duke and marcus nguyen.

I wonder how physical tverberg will be especially since this group is small in height. There’s a lot of skill with the forwards though.

Defense group seems more bland than forwards outside of villeneuve. Koster’s ok, but i remember reading his defensive metrics were bad. Hildeby should impress or else this goaltending group will be sad.

If any one undrafted this year signs an ELC, the contract slides….yes?

And is this the camp where college kids have to pay their own way?

Absolutely correct on both.
Do college kids still have to pay their own way? The NCAA changed their rules where athletes are allowed some types of compensation; I.e. college players are now being paid by EA SPORTS to have their name and likeness in the college games.

I'm curious who the top rated goalie prospects are in the system.
Is Kallgren the heir apparent, and will be in the backup role next year after Samsonov moves on?
Is Woll expected to earn more starts in the AHL this season? What's his upside?
Has Hildeby already jumped to the top of the pipeline?

Thank you for your input

Woll
Hildeby
Kallgren
McKay/Petruzelli - on AHL deals but I love their potential
Peksa
Ahktyamov

They've invested a 3 year deal into Woll with two of the years being a one way contract, even his salary in the first year where he is still not eligible for waivers is pretty generous. He hasn't proven much as a pro, so the contract was a pretty good indication that they like him as a prospect past just the raw numbers. He was drafted high and has the tools, but we're unsure if he'll ever transition. But, he would be the guy to replace a Murray/Samsonov from the Marlies over the next couple years.

Hildeby looks the most promising of the bunch fresh off the draft. If he maintains his play from last season then he could push relatively soon.

Did everyone listen to Dubas talking about Hildeby?

Strange way he described his contract situation, can't remember the exact words, but my interpretation was "yes he's under contract to Farjestads but ..."

Do you have a link for this?

Pretty close to the way I see it, though I see Petruzelli higher than Kallgren in potential, but maybe you have the right order today. If Petruzelli can continue his trajectory, we might have something there.. but we won't know for some time. Woll's challenge will be getting through the bad luck on injuries. If he can stay healthy, he could be in the NHL next year, or even steal a spot this year. He's pretty good.

It was on TSN, and a long one, where he covered off quite a bit.

Maybe a day after start of free agency.

Talked about Audette signing a 1 year deal and how he had dealt with a health issue and losing weight that was now under control.

Let me see if I can find it.

Might be this one but it is 15 minutes so I have to re-watch. I saw it on TSN IIRC.
Around 13 minute mark.
