Green is a good coach who seems to be a victim of a shitty Vancouver team. I think he could get another NHL job, but he should be a huge upgrade on Moore. I don't know how close the organization is to making an AHL coaching change, but I think it's clear that Moore isn't the answer

Those watching the Marlies how is Ho Sang? Is this someone you can see the Leafs signing and bringing up to the main roster this season?

hard to believe Knies tonight has more points (3) than Tyler Boucher does all season (2). What a wild pick by Ottawa, who are normally a pretty good drafting team.

I can't wait to see what Knies can do at the world juniors
I was looking over NCAA stats on EP (as one does) and both Tverberg and Knies, are near the top of NCAA scoring among their age brackets... I expected Knies, the guy drafted in the (later part of the) second round to flirt with going PPG since Tverberg's game doesn't lend itself to being super productive... but Mr. 7th round pick is leading Connecticut in scoring while shooting ~24%.

He should be with the Leafs, and he will be eventually. I have no doubt in my mind he'll sign something at some point in the next few months... at the very latest it'll be for next season. There's no way they'll expose him to waivers right away so if he does sign something, he'll be on the Leafs.

Close up of that sweet Ho-Sang goal.

Don’t know why Marlies Twitter deleted the original tweet. Can’t recall if there was a typo or not but way to kill the momentum it was building.

LOL remember when certain guys said when we signed him to a 2-way deal he was (paraphrasing) a toxic arrogant cancer? Yeah, I'm shocked that a poc with "arrogance" issues didn't get a chance in hockey. Especially with Lou as his GM for the majority of his drafted career (not that Lou's racist, he just hates anyone with a personality).

Good for Ho-Sang. Keep it up and you should have a nice NHL contract with the Leafs in no time.

Watching the game I just remembered that there was a Steeves quote in The Athletic the other day where he said he wanted to follow a trajectory similar to Bryan Rust.

That would be amazing for us

What does everyone see in koster? I must be missing something…
He’s really good at carrying the puck out of his zone and at entering the other team’s blue line.

When under pressure, he can make the right play and find the open man.

Very smooth skater reminiscent of jake gardiner. I personally think his mobility can i prove, but others will and can disagree with me.

Excellent positioning.

He has the tools to run a power play and has been given the opportunity in the past, but doesn’t put that many points. While johnson, faber, and lacombe were sent to wjc, koster managed 0.5 points per game, but he did it as a d+2. Nevertheless, koster played extremely well with top minutes.

While i think his lack of production is due to his offensive hockey iq, his hockey iq and vision in every other area of the ice is very strong. He is the smartest defenseman on his team and was given top pairing minutes last year in his first year.

many edits: due to typing on ipad where it refreshes.
