As advertised. He's stronger and faster for sure. It's been a solid season for him so far.

I know it’s not a great stat, but he’s minus a lot.
Because of tough top 6 matchups?
How’s his D been?
And any reports on Kral, Gogolev and Abramov would would be appreciated.
Edit to add: Joey Duszak too, please. Guys almost a point a game.

I wasn't at all impressed with the first few games from Abramov in the AHL. He looks like a completely different player these last few games. Good on him.

Hopefully a sign of things to come.

Marlies had some tough games and he was on the receiving end of some tough games I guess. I wouldn't read to much into that. Half his points also come from the PP where he excels.

Abramov is like Kampf right now, a lot of defensive matchups. He's been really good to me but his production makes him look average. Kral and Gogolev have been ok, not really standing out.

gotta give credit to Dubas on his drafting/signing in the Steeves case! He’s found some players that at least show that they might play in the NHL!

Ahhh. To try out? I understand this train of thought but whenever I see this I think, well, isn't there a good chance Ritchie and Engvall would be stars in the AHL right now?

At the end of the day, it falls to Dubas. But it would (and I think should) have to be pretty disastrous for Dubas to have to come in and go over Gilman's head on a decision like that

Gilman no longer runs the Marlies. They brought in the GM of the Chicago Steel, the same team Moore came from

Nice to see Woll having a game.
He’s had a bunch of these with the Marlies. But more often he seemed to let in 1 or 2 a game he shoulda had. Never found consistency.
Maybe this catapults him a lil bit.

Oh yeah, that’s my impression. Just that their records a lot better than I’d guess.

I've only watched the home games because they're televised. Been having trouble with the away games as that site we all used last year has been sucking.

Mennell has looked just okay in the games I've watched. Nothing special. I've been partiularly impressed with the progression of Abramov from game 1 to today. He looked a step behind at the beginning and now looks like a real prospect.

Gilman isn't the Marlies GM anymore. He was promoted to senior advisor or something like that in the off-season.
