Another goal for Kokkonen in pre season.
If Kokkonen putting up offense is a thing now that would be awesome.

If Sandin and Liljegren stick this year, and then Kral/Kokkonen/Niemela can start to push next season that would be extremely beneficial as Muzzin/Brodie get older.

Kokkonen will come over and be pushing for a NHL job. His impact as of right now would be similar, if not better than that of Dermott

Unfortunately, we don't have a Muzzin type in the system, to replace him.

I wouldn't say he's there just yet. Dermott is one of the better 3rd pair guys in the league. Kokkonen has to show that he can drive play at both ends in the AHL before he can make thst leap.

Good hiring. He was a huge reason why Flint went from laughing stock to one of the top teams in the OHL before the shutdown.
If leafs would have signed him when he went undrafted and went to prospect camp, he may have avoided injury and still be in the NHL. Can't believe he's 31 already.

He's going to a much better team so if there is offense in him, it will show up this season. His production in the Marlies and now pre season is a good sign but small sample size.

Yes, but he plays in the CHL so we can sign him to an ELC.
I don't think he has put in the time with the CHL to be eligible to sign an ELC. I am no expert, but it is my understanding that a player has to go undrafted 2 or maybe even 3 times depending on years in Jr. Before they are free to sign an ELC.

On further review. I stand corrected. Camp invites can be signed to ELCs before their Jr season begins.

Colby Saganiuk is the grandson of form Leaf Rocky Saganiuk he is is still eligible for the 2022 daft I believe. Vincent Sévigny is a guy I think can be a prospect.

Damn, friend, why'd you have to post this. Now I feel old...grandson?...I guess I am old.

Only Euros can't be signed.

Crazy to think Curtis Douglas added 45-50lbs over three years. At 18 I believe he was a hair over 200lbs at 6'8" and now he's up to 250lbs, possibly more coming in to camp.

I was never a fan of the Brazeau project because his skating was just way too far behind and still is despite some improvement. He'll never see NHL ice. But Douglas to me is a guy with a very real chance of being an NHL bottom sixer because of his skating. He's trending similarly to Gauthier based on his last CHL season + AHL cameo, but with nastiness and better hands in tight.

Probably the most interesting Marlie deal of the summer IMO. If he can develop into a 4C, poor man's version of Lowry/Boyle, that would be huge moving forward.

Anybody know anything about these players?

As some have mentioned, Theo Rochette is very interesting. Swiss/Canadian citizenship. Renounced his Swiss citizenship to play for Canada at the U18's. Was at one point looked at as a potential 1st round pick. Obviously has fallen off but would be interested to see how he used the pandemic time to build his game.

oh I thought it was going to be a Leafs only playing against each other, I am way more excited now. Will Knies be participating?
The Dev Camp will just be Leafs prospects and invites playing.
The Rookie Tournament will be against other teams' prospects (this year I believe it's DET, CBJ, DAL, STL, which is a mix I don't think we've ever seen at Traverse before). This tournament will probably shed a couple of the invites from Dev Camp , but we should see a large chunk of our (at least North American) prospects. Good bet Knies will play.
