Minten has played a bunch on Stankoven's wing. They stack lines. They both play C no? I'm assuming Bedard would get Stankoven and Minten's PP1 minutes.

I really like Kral...He reminds me a little of Stralman ...Would be nice if he developed to that level.Agree with most of the above, but would add Kral. He seems like one of the guys most ready for some NHL work when healthy and I believe he can play both the left and right side.
I've seen parts of 3 games. If Kamloops is losing, they do stack stankoven and minten from time to time. Even-strength, bankier plays with stankoven while Minten plays on the second line. They both play C no? I'm assuming Bedard would get Stankoven and Minten's PP1 minutes.
Stankoven is a RW that takes the RH faceoffs. Bankier & Minten have swapped at C for the 1st line this season. They both play C no? I'm assuming Bedard would get Stankoven and Minten's PP1 minutes.
Voit now at 46 pts in 26 games and is on pace for 120 pts. Just insane production
Undersized playmaking forward who plays the game at a high pace. Great vision and passing ability but will need to improve his overall quickness and add strength to take advantage of his offensive tools at the NHL level.
Don't believe I've ever seen him play, unless it might have been in a prospects tournament.
How many, to use a baseball analogy, tools does he pocess?

Being a one trick pony, example a great shot, isn't enough to make you a NHL player.
Physicality doesn't get its own category for most teams. It is usually lumped together with work ethic and defense (and sometimes even hockey intelligence), while offense is usually split up between shooting, passing, and sometimes puck handling/hands (it can sometimes be included with shooting/passing).
Fans care more about "physicality" than teams do... Physicality for most teams is an ability to be good in tight, either along the boards or in front of the net, and there are a lot of "non-physical" players who do well in that regard and a lot of "physical" players who suck in that regard.
Could he be our Breyden Point?Re Voit, I wouldn't say that I'm an expert by any means, but from the little I've seen I think he's got U21 Marner upside and role. 60 point ( no more than 15-20 goal) playmaking winger, getting by on hands/edgework/ vision tenacious but weak, and not a burner. I think he'll be that player in the N or the A, nothing in between (well maybe a little higher A numbers), and is much more likely to be a AAAA minor leaguer than a 60 point NHLer.
The classic boom or bust that we're supposedly riddled with
Again not an expert but not a great comparable IMO. Significantly smaller, hasn't shown the goal scoring, and isn't a C, even in the OHL.Could he be our Breyden Point?
In hockey, to make the NHL these days you need good to great skating and a high hockey IQ. He seems to fall into that category for both. Shifty skater that does a great job drawing defenders and opens up lanes for his team mates. Marner was doing the same thing in Junior. High end play maker with his assist totals and primary points carrying a team with no notable players.Don't believe I've ever seen him play, unless it might have been in a prospects tournament.

Wondering if this means Simmonds is going to the Oilers, as per the rumor from last night.Interesting move.
Elite has him at 5:10, 172lbs.
Someone going down?
I would drop his skating to 4/5In hockey, to make the NHL these days you need good to great skating and a high hockey IQ. He seems to fall into that category for both. Not sure about his defensive play. As far as I know, I don't think he's a physical player but both those things can be developed with time if he doesn't become a top 6 forward.
If I had to rate his skills:
Skating - 4.5/5
Shot - 2.5/5
Passing - 5/5
Hockey IQ - 5/5
Defense - 1.5-2/5
Puck Handling - 4.5/5
I'm not going to rate physicality because like Seaofblue said, physicality can mean something different to everyone.
Perhaps those who have been watching the OHL this year can chime in on if my assessment is correct?
Thanks. I guess he is pretty much Bracco 2.0.Again not an expert but not a great comparable IMO. Significantly smaller, hasn't shown the goal scoring, and isn't a C, even in the OHL.
What was the rumor?Wondering if this means Simmonds is going to the Oilers, as per the rumor from last night.
A version of Bracco that cares more about hockey and is less of an (alleged) problematic douche is a pretty great prospect for a 5th rounder, and likely leans toward the boom of boom/bust.Thanks. I guess he is pretty much Bracco 2.0.
