I think most Leafs fans should be aware of those guys, unless they're very young.I wasn't against Lilly but I was against the hype that some posters were labelling him as
I won't mention names(he's a popular guy around here, starts with D ends with E, 4 letter word) who said to me, that Lilly was already better than Sergachev
Lilly someday may be better than Sergachev, but he isn't there yet now and he definitely wasn't there last year
No love for Stralman or Gunnersson?
Good to see both guys playing well in the VHL but they reay need to start getting some KHL action soon.Peksa 23 save shutout for his 2nd of the year.
Sarnia gets a nice piece and Voit has some help
Bryan Hayes...legitamately called him a bust over and over againThere's that one guy on Overdrive who dumped on Liljegren every time his name cam up...

Nice that the goalies are getting healthy. Knock on wood.Anyone know if Woll is going to be playing tonight or at all this weekend?
Exactly how was it legitimate? Liljegren is clearly not a "bust".Bryan Hayes...legitamately called him a bust over and over again
Can you bring up Steeves while he's hot and healthy?
What does Holmberg bring exactly?
The ability to play centre. He's also been quite effectiveCan you bring up Steeves while he's hot and healthy?

I don't think the OP is agreeing with Hayes there lolExactly how was it legitimate? Liljegren is clearly not a "bust".
We should be systematically giving the producing youngsters (Robertson/Steeves/Anderson/Gaudette*) long looks getting consistent time in the top 6.@fahad203 I would love to see Steeves brought up at some point though....

*not that young
I was willing to give Engvall a longer leash because he missed all of camp and preseason, but he’s been SO bad this year. Invisible out there, weak on the puck, noticeably slower than last year, a complete non-factor physically … he should spend a few games in the press box and probably no one would even noticeFor now, I think we need to find a way to make that third line effective.
We take a look, and the best combinations with Jarnkrok, whom I think we are most committed to as a third liner is currently Engvall-Kerfoot-Jarnkrok

Jarnkrok has been on the ice for 4 goals for, and 7 against.
The line with Holmberg on it, isn't doing very well at all... I like Holmberg, but perhaps like Robertson, he just isn't read yet.

Jarnkrok looked pretty good with JT and WN though...
But AK-JT-WN have been good too.
We can't break up ZAR-Kampf-Malgin at this point...
So, I'm sitting Engvall for a couple of games, and bringing up either Steeves or Anderson.
I love how effective ZAR-Kampf-Malgin have been, but I think that as a 4th line they're so incredible that we should protect them at the cost of the F group. I think the 1st step is to stop trying to over think things and just put people in sensible slots. For now, I think we need to find a way to make that third line effective.

Knies with an absolute man shift.
Just drew a penalty, then sets up a goal, all by being bigger and stronger.
Knies with a assist. The minnesota lineup is a huge mess. Snuggurud and knies are playing with an assortment of centers. Logan cooley got suspended. It’s almost as bad as the miami heat game tonight.
