Moldenhauer and even Lisowsky don't get a lot of love but they have had really good seasons.
Moldenhauer 23 goals and 35 assists in 45 games.
Lisowsky 35 goals and 32 assists in 63 games.
I’m actually pretty excited for Moldenhauer. I think he’ll be a steal for a third round pick.

How is Lisowky's wheels?

Also because of Moldenhaur's league, is the production exciting or expected?

It's good, but maybe not incredible.

For example, he's fifth on his team in scoring.

Macklin Celebrini is a 2006 born kid
Harvey 2003
Perron 2005
Emerson 2003
Moldenhauer 2004

So he's got two kids younger than him, outscoring him and in Celebrini's case, significantly. Now Celebrini is looking like a top 3 draft pick in 2024 though, and just put up the best 16 yo stats in USHL history.

So he's got a pretty good, high scoring team... but, his PPG is 24th all time, for an 18 yo in the USHL... in some pretty good company.... so, maybe if he can replicate this scoring, at the College level, with less talent around.. then he certainly looks like a future NHL player.

I remember him being among the hidden gems of the 2018 draft. He went in the 2nd to the Sens but never really developed as hoped.

Hopefully just a better version of Hellickson, who is likely moving on after this year.

Long shot chance of replacing Hoefenmayer, but more likely Marlies depth at best and a guy for the Growlers as the more reasonable expectation.

Tbh I was expecting Lisowsky to be closer to 80 pts with his goal scoring ability. Still a decent season though

Interesting story. His first year at Omaha interrupted, he had Covid and long Covid symptoms for the rest of the year, then 21/22 a lower body injury that put him out after two games for a month… so maybe two years where circumstances didn’t allow him to shine and then this year. So he did well this year, and has the opportunity to make something of himself. These are good signings, and some will work out, or at least help out the farm clubs.

How big and weight?

Nice to see him back on the ice, must mean his shoulder is progressing well!

That kid has no quit in him. He really just keeps trying harder and harder.

If he can keep himself healthy and evolve his game to compensate for his lack of size, that drive that he has can really take him places, along with this skill.

Pulling hard for the kid to put it together and legitimately challenge for a spot next season.

He has the kind of drive other professional athletes dream of.... right after they dream about having so much talent they never have to try.

But really, nobody will ever be able to say he doesn't earn every chance he gets with his hard work and what I assume is an amazing support system both with our team and in his personal life.

I really hope he gets his chance to shine.

I'm sure this will be taken the wrong way, but he's getting paid okay money to play a game at age 21.

Lots of kids come out of university with good degrees 2-3 year older making next to nothing.
Other people are working thankless jobs for over 30-40 years with broken down bodies and are still putting in the efforts.

Robertson has a great future ahead himself, and he's so close to making millions year after year, I'm sure motivation isn't an issue! Especially with big brother killing it!!

I have no problem with any of the information you provided but I'm not sure what you want me to do with it.

Like a lot of fans, I have kind of written him off given his never-ending injuries. Would be great if he could get himself back into consideration for a top 6 role.
