In order for me are Ryan Fanti, Brandon Bussi, Dryden Mckay and Clay Stevenson honorable mention to Jaxson Stauber (great name)
Fanti signed in Edmonton, Jaxson signed in Chicago, Clay signed in Washington. Drydens numbers are great, but he's played the most games out of anyone, and faces very low shots. Only faced 730 shot in 41 games played. Averages just under 18 shots against per game.

darn i missed that Fanti signing, was really hoping we were in on him, darnit and the Bruins just signed Bussi

That was also a serious possibility. The Marlies don't play B2B games until April 9/10. Hopefully Petruzzelli gets the 3 games before then, and then hopefully Hutch will be back to handle the other B2B game.

We don't need any goalies in that age range, and I would take Petruzzelli over any of them anyways.

We should be looking at AHL contract guys out of the AHL in the 01' and 02' range and then look to draft an 03'/04'/05' goalie at some point either this year or next.

Im with you as I take Petruzelli over them as well, Hutch and Hutton are gone after this season, Scott is a who knows, Woll and Kallgren will likely be a Leaf backup next season, the russian kids likely dont come over till the following year

NHL Campbell, Kallgren/Woll
AHL Kallgren/Woll, Petruzelli
ECHL Scott *****

I'd love to see the Leafs sign this guy!
Strong pedigree including AHL, World Championships, KHL and Olympics!
He can't play in the NHL this season but I believe could make a great impact for the Marlies and audition for an NHL job next season. Most non-Russian KHLers won't want to go back next season.
I figure the Leafs considered signing him before they chose to sign Sateri. There is a good chance Hellburg will again play for Sweden in this spring's World Championships May 13-29.

I know Douglas and other top prospects are getting a lot of attention going into next season... but one player I think deserves a shot is Brett Seney. He was very solid in his Leafs stint. The injury hurt his shot when he was up but he's been terrific with the Marlies.

I hope the Leafs can bring him back next season.

Was pretty shocked to see that Rasanen has 10 goals 26pts for the same Danish team that Rubins played on last year (who had only 5pts there). His whole game looked genuinely awful in Liiga play I can't fathom him putting up points in any league that's not the OHL.

I would’ve gave him an Ahl deal but That’s me.

I knew Douglas was big and I've seen him play but when they score there he makes all the guys around him look tiny lol.
He is gigantic, and oddly moves fairly well for a big fella all things considered. I would say his hands are overly awkward either. He is a great ELC signing IMO.

He should factor into our bottom six rotation next year

Anybody know anything about these guys, that the story and stats don’t tell us? Any NHL upside? Thx

Staggert was Steeves linemate last season. He saw a dip in production after he left. From what I read Staggert has some good tools offensively.

Don't know much about Miller but doesn't seem like much of a player.

Miller scouting report from 2016, based on when he was with UTDP U18.

Tommy Miller(Michigan State)- Miller has a pro frame and is a strong skater. He doesn’t quite have the offensive ability to project as a PP guy at the pro level, but he’s good enough that he won’t be an offensive liability. He struggled a bit defending one-on-one. I’d project him as a 2nd/3rd round pick at this point

SCOUTING REPORT
Strong well balanced defender who moves well, and shows good balance. Displays physicality and steady play on the back end and is always willing to engage with contact. Strong physical specimen. Good on the penalty kill, but hasn’t been given opportunities yet as a power play QB, although he has offensive upside, going rushing ability and a strong one-timer. Committed to Michigan State University, where he will be given the opportunity to learn the nuances needed to play the position.

Graham Slaggert(Notre Dame)- Slaggert is a really dependable player. There’s not much offensive upside, but he pressures the puck really hard defensively, blocks shots, and does all the little things. There’s probably a spot for him to get picked in the later rounds of the draft.

That's all I can find. Upside on Miller seems to be a defensive D....

Slaggert has a little bit of upside, but he is a hard working 4th line type. At the very least I expect him to have a nice AHL career and may even be a legit depth option for the Marlies next year.

Don't know anything about Miller but he looks like ECHL depth to replace Finkelstein anyways (if we are looking for more defensive players). Was ranked 81st by CSS Central Scouting once upon a time though. Rifai and Miller give the Growlers a pair of solid defensive options instead of just having iffier defensive options like Hoefenmayer, Finkelstein, McCourt, and Hellickson available.

Robertson/Knies - ??? - Holmberg
Seney (RFA) - Abramov - Steeves
McMann - SDA - Gogolev
Clifford - Douglas - ???
??? - Slaggert - ???
???

ECHL: Chyzowski

Dahlstrom - ???
Kral - ???
Rubins (RFA) - Hollowell
??? - Villeneuve
???

ECHL: Rifai, Miller, Kapcheck

Kallgren - Woll
Petruzzelli

ECHL: Scott (RFA)

Non-tendered/traded RFA's: Krys, Duszak
Graduates: Anderson, Robertson/Knies

Marlies Needs
2 Top 4 RD with NHL capabilities (SPC) (Duszak/Biega upgrades)
1 Top 6 C with NHL capabilities (SPC) (Abruzzese if not in NHL; Michaelis/Blandisi/Suomela upgrades)
1 Top 9 RW (SPC/high end AHL contract) (Ho-Sang replacement)
1 Depth LD (SPC) (potentially Kokkonen if he stays in NA next year; Kivihalme upgrade)
1 Depth RD (high end AHL contract) (capable of replacing Villeneuve if he needs ECHL time)
1 Depth LW (high end AHL contract) (Suomela/Blandisi/Michaelis replacement)
1 Depth RW (high end AHL contract) (Kopacka replacement)
1 Enforcer (AHL contract) (Clune or a replacement for him if Clifford is not enough)
1 Depth G (AHL contract) (Scott insurance)
2 ECHL LD (AHL contract) (Hoefenmayer/McCourt/Pietroniro replacements)
~5 ECHL depth forwards (AHL contract) (McKenna/Green/etc. replacements)
