Prospect Info: Marlies/Prospects Thread - 2021/22

Seems like Growlers depth to me. Don't see him factoring into the Marlies' plans all too much.

Hoefenmayer, Pietroniro, Hellickson, and McCourt are all free agents after this year. Short of the Growlers telling the Marlies to keep one of them for their team, all of them are likely gone next year.

Hutton is hurt for the rest of the year.

Help won't come from the CHL right now. Luke Cavallin is a decent AHL contract option (if he doesn't get an ELC; I wouldn't give him one). I have no idea why Petruzzelli wouldn't be playing, but he may be hurt. Wasn't a pretty outcome against Bridgeport.

With injuries to Holl, Lybushkin and Sandin - Leafs are short 2 dmen on the blueline - who do we think gets the call up (assuming theyre not gametime ready for Thursday)?

I imagine Duszak or maybe Hollowell?

Dahlstrom was already called up before the game against Boston. Duszak may get a chance.

I imagine if they're going with a lefty d-man it will be either Rubins or Kivhalme ... But showcasing Duszak right now might be beneficial for his trade value.

I'd imagine brodie moves back to the right. Krys, Kral, Rubins, Dusak, Hollowell, and Kivihalme are the only available guys to come up.
 
A shame we don't actually own Myers... Would have been a nice call-up for a few games if Lyub and Holl are injured for awhile.

I imagine Rubins will get the nod. Leafs will want his size + PK ability over Duszak... but I would love for him to get a shot.
