They
And they sure didn't turn Team Canada into a medal winning team.

I wonder if our Leafs should trade them for help on D and in goal?
Lol
They didn't hurt team canada .Cowan came as advertised
His linmates didn't like to pass
Minten played a lot but didn't Amp up his game In the medal round

Knies looked bad in the 2022 Juniors and now he's a top 6 forward on the Leafs at 21 years old. Probably shouldn't read too much into this tournament.

Sandin also was MVP in this tournament, so it goes both ways.

Didn't Pogge win MVP his year as well? If so our prospects doing well in this tournament just means they're most likely gonna be a bust at the NHL level. We got 2 good ones in Cowan and Minten ;)

My post about trading Cowan and Minten was in jest. I should have added this :sarcasm: to my post.

However, we do need D and goalies, so let's see what happens at the trade deadline. One of them might have to be used to acquire a player of quality, hopefully with decent term and NOT a rental.

I don't mind the goaltending with Woll, Hildeby and the Russian kids but I'd agree were not exactly swimming in D prospects

I saw him at the prospect tournament for Detroit and a couple of OHL games, Strong, good size, physical and competitive very little offence and can skate but won't standout in the NHL. I think Marlies. Maybe a good 4-5 in the future?
Watched him last night vs the London. Knights.
Likes to get involved physically , skating looks pretty good so.e offensive ability.

Caught Cowen at the blueline with a nice clean hit.

Hope they sign him.
