Has Greb been in a lesser role this season now that he's back with Magnitogorsk?

Be interested to see what opportunity he's had. Almost as many goals (8) vs last year (9) in 11 less game, but fewer assists.

Organizationally the Leafs have some young depth on the wings (Knies, Robertson .. Cowan, Greb) with legit top 6 potential.

He can play. Getting regular top 6 minutes and voted to the all star game. Very fast straight line skater. A middle 6 energy guy is probably a realistic outcome.

He might be more than an energy player - check out some of his highlights he’s got great hands and high level of skill.

No - Svechnikov has an elite shot Grebyonkin doesn't have, but Grebyonkin maybe has a bit better wheels.

Not that Grebyonkin has a bad shot, but Svechnikov can score 40 at some point in the NHL and I don't see that as a possiblity for Greb.

We have options
Who would have thought that in the future our home grown goalies could be really good.

This season has been pretty brutal so far and it's sad that a retool or even rebuild might soon be in order but it's extremely encouraging to see that we have a very strong amateur scouting team that has done a fantastic job the past few seasons.

You could almost make a argument that we should be making some trades in the next few years to accumulate as many picks as possible so this group can really have a chance at hitting many homeruns at the draft table.

I wouldn’t be that dramatic but honestly way I see it kampf should go cause we can’t pay for the wingers he needs (giraffe n cobra) and make the fourth line ahl graduates with holmberg then trade Brodie and get tanev and try to get a signed Noah hanifan take the hit pay the first zeezee and steeves if you have no place for him on the team and reconstruct your roster properly so you can assess the roster properly we know there’s enough skill on forward sure up the d and go who knows maybe hilly takes us there
