Adding Dermott and Johnsson to a team that was already really good is just silly.

To be fair, the team lost a lot of talent with Kapanen, Rychel, Valiev all out the door. Rychel/Valiev might not ever become NHLers but they were good contributors on the team.

Not sure if they're showing this stream on TSN but the Lehigh Valley commentators just said the Marlies throwing it towards their own open net on the delayed penalty was the Phantoms' best scoring chance all game

There's no need for him to stay on the marlies to dominate. He's clearly shown his capable of playing pro hockey, and he plays a heavy game that we sorely lack on the big club

5 mins seems pretty harsh, but I mean.... you can't intentionally kick a dude who just got knocked to the ice even if it isn't very hard and you're wearing giant pillows on your legs. 50% of that call was probably just for how pointless and dumb it was.

It looks more and more likely that this years marlies team will win it all. We have had some great marlies team since 2010. The year kadri made to Calder cup finals was good, willy+brown 2 years were fun to watch. This team though is just dominant.
