Looks like Ichabod Crane, but hustles and fires pucks just like Craig Smith, who he was replacing funnily enough.
Definitely a fan of his debut!

If Blidh's an extra I see him playing somewhere else next year.I think Nosek is fine... as long as there isnt another slow guy on the line
Nosek is 6'2. Good details. 2nd effort. Good at FOs. There is value
Nosek sturdiness helps the 4th line. Add Lazar and Mclaughlin. With Blidh as the extra
This is where I'm at

Guys playing great hockey. Love for him to play all season in a 4th line roll. To give his spot to a guy who's played one game is a bit premature.
I wasn’t expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. Kid‘s got a motor and good smarts. He looked... polished defensively.
EligibleVery vet like 1st game
Lost in the excitement... is he eligible or ineligible to play in the playoffs?
Both McMuffin and McLovin are acceptable nicknames
I like that they have nicknames for each other. What players did you hear call him that? They actually do call him McLovin or McMuffin
Bruins Wasted No Time With Marc McLaughlin Nicknames After Goal
Marc McLaughlin had a Thursday night he will remember forever and his Bruins teammates made sure to only add to his memories.nesn.com
McAvoy called him McMuffin and Fredric called him McLovinI like that they have nicknames for each other. What players did you hear call him that?
I've never seen him play, but reading about him, I suspect you'll be impressed. There's an article in the athletic about his career and about the Bruins habit of signing undrafted collegiate players and finding gold.I'm going excited to see what this guy brings. Could be good depth for the playoffs.
$1 is even too much for that ragI've never seen him play, but reading about him, I suspect you'll be impressed. There's an article in the athletic about his career and about the Bruins habit of signing undrafted collegiate players and finding gold.
By the way, I just signed up with the athletic, for 6 months trial of $1 a month. It's like 7:50 or something after that, but give it a try. It's Superior in many ways to what you'll find out there. No, I don't work for them. Or for Fluto.
I hope McLaughlin knows the positive impression he made on the fans in his first game.
Of course it’s only one game and all of that and I’m certainly not counting chickens. The thing that really stuck out for me though was that the NHL game didn’t appear as though it was too fast for him. Always part of the play and never catching up to it. All three zones, forecheck, on the rush… Didn’t matter he was right with it, making good, quick decisions.
That’s not adrenaline in a first game. That’s something that can only either be inherent, or gained through experience. Which means for McLaughlin, it’s innate. That’s really impressive.
well said, I mentioned in an earlier post, I tried to focus on him as much as possible sitting at home and being at the mercy of the Broadcast, his positioning was very good, seemed to be right where he needed to be. His skating doesn`t look strong but yet, there he is, not late to a puck and on that goal, to have the recognition to immediately not just get on your horse but race to get on Freddy`s left, open up to give him a target to pass to then unload that shot? Very niceI hope McLaughlin knows the positive impression he made on the fans in his first game.

My take as wellI wasn’t expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. Kid‘s got a motor and good smarts. He looked... polished defensively.
