Don't really need to dunk on Toronto. They're Leafs fans. Their existence is its own reward.

I said it earlier but you just have to bask in all the salt - these are fans of teams that got some of the best players of this generation and whose management f***ed everything up to the point where these talents are likely going to leave and the cycle of despair will start anew. We sucked and rebuilt and will now surpass them in the span of a decade. It's f***ing hilarious.

What it takes to beat us barely by 1 goal:

1. One of the best regular season teams ever.
2. 3 disallowed goals.
3. Two pipes.
4. Unfavorable officiating.

It could be a hell of a lot worse.

Those are all great points. We deserved to win, and even when we lose, we don’t go out without a fight and we play well. You have to earn 2 points against us. Optimism looks good on you!

It did take a night where it seemed like fate itself was against the Devils and even fate couldn’t stop the Devils from making it a squeaker at the end.

Not the Devils best night but this is why win streaks are so hard. It’s kind of impressive they only lost by 1 considering this was a B- game from the team.

If that was a B-minus game from us the. damn we haven’t seen A a whole lot hahah, textbook domination for the last 2 periods, not even close really. We deserved to win it. Probably have to start off better, but the team is buzzing and tonight’s game doesn’t change that.

This is not a comment directed at you, rather an observation: Every game I go to there seems to be a disproportionately large amount of smokin hot chicks with, well, questionable looking dudes. Is there an overabundance of women in NJ or something? Do I need to move there?

I think part of the issue with that for the Devils is the situation room reviewing all of the replay angles isn’t in the building, so it’s probably difficult to get it on the screen.

But at a minimum, I don’t understand why they can’t get the replays from the MSG feed up on the board in real time.

Well, the Devils have Million Dollar Replays so they can’t put up too many for cost reasons.

I get to go to usually one or two games a year. Somehow, I go to the both the game the Taylor Hall point streak ends and the Devils win streak ends. Just my luck. Shouldn't have shown up tonight if that was any indication of my luck. My record for Devils games when I go is well below .500.

Anyways, that was one of the best atmospheres I have ever seen for a sporting event. Devils fans were absolutely rocking the whole game. Especially after that Dougie goal finally counted, the arena was absolutely erupting. I'm really so proud of this team. Took the entire world working against us to stop the win streak.

That beer scene also was one of the wildest things I have ever seen. Absolutely hilarious but the arena better make sure that never happens again (barring another 3 disallowed goals). I saw the first beer hit the ice and I just knew all hell was about to break loose. Seeing people with absolute cannons launch some from the 200s was wild.
