So if I go to a game and just have a seat somewhere onthe infield. Can I just mosey on over to one of these at some point or do you have to pay entry to watch from there?

They're free but I assume it will be some effort to get a seat especially at the start of the season.

I'm going in May for a few games. But it will be the Yankees series so I may look to buy ahead

Yeah you still need to buy a ticket somewhere in the stadium (or the $20 GA ones) but once you're in you can move there.

Without looking, I could ask the forum to put together a list of 20 educated guesses of who is tied for 4th on the Jays in fWAR and you would never get it.

The answer is Berrios btw.

He is 2nd in fWAR pitching behind only Gausman.

Yes, by FIP metrics he got babip’d, but by statcast metrics pretty much all those hits and then some should have counted. No homeruns, although they would have happened in other parks.

I really hope Fangraphs incorporates statcast batted ball data into fWAR soon. It'll be by far the best pitching stat at that point.

I knew the answer was Berrios but it's because I have a fangraphs Jays stats bookmark that I look at every few days. Lets hope it was just 1 game of getting BABIP'd

Estrada really felt like the guy that showed (at least me) how flawed FIP could be to analyze a pitcher. Everyone just assumed that because he was a soft tossing flyball pitcher that he was bound to start sucking because AL East feasts on his pitcher type. Well, xERA, EV and other statcast data really shows how good he was as a Jay.

Bo makes throws that seem impossible, in a bad way, and then makes hits that are impossible, in a good way.
