Merryweather throwing batting practice out there today. Teo crushed one out and then next batter, Kelenic sent it 482 ft lol. Both off the fastball
At least he'll always be remembered for that opening series vs the Yanks in 2021 when he struck out 5 in 2 innings.
To no one's surprise, the AL East is already miles ahead of the other divisions
Going to be yet another fun year
Sem Robberse with another excellent start for new hampshire.

If he can add 2mph to his average velo, could he be like a Shane Bieber lite? With Tiedemann, Zulu, him, Rojas, and Barriera the minors is suddenly stocked with pitching.
I think he can tick up the velo a couple more ticks from the 92-94 as he is just 21, and - as you mentioned - he is still filling out and growing into this frame. He's a really interesting storyline for the year. He needed those few extra MPH (especially for the transition to the majors someday), but now that he's up to 93 he's a pretty great starting pitcher prototype.
It will be interesting to see if he has a little more velo left in his development because he's a pretty underdeveloped kid. 94-95 with his command and stuff would be a phenomenal prospect.
Gawd, I hope they get this done sooner rather than later. If the team wants to sign him to a 10/12/15-year deal, I'm all for it. Lock him up, and let him be the face of this team for the decade plus, which will see him go down as the greatest Jay ever.
And then game 3 of the series is Manoah-McClanahan lolSox had a 3-1 lead. Thought they might have had a chance to fluke their way to a win, but nope lol
It's up to.....Berrios and Kikuchi to stop the Rays![]()
Tampa will just dial up a new stud from the farm to fill in I am sure.Springs left the game with a sore left arm
