That new board is causing one heck of a shadow

Looks like there are lights on the bottom that aren't turned on

what's the aspect ratio on the bridge monitors? strange looking from that angle...almost 4:4.

Looks weird in the angles, but looks like they are using 4:3 screens, nothing custom.

Which would make sense, as they would probably divide the screen with fixed elements like score, penalties, and other data with a 16:9 aspect box windowed inside showing replays and mirroring the wide screen scoreboard.

If you look at the scoreboard with the ribbon above the live video screen, it's basically 4:3.

Gotcha, that makes sense. I hope to never see one in person. :D

Scoreboard is GREAT! That was the only thing I really cared about. As for the lighting under it, that is incredibly easy to fix....put a few lights under the board facing down or aim a few lights from the sides toward the center ice.

I think he meant 16, not 6. Row 16 is about right:

Tough to tell in the virtual seating chart since they have the old scoreboard in it but I think it may be a couple of rows higher than that. In 227 row 16 on the seating chart, you could see the suites below the bridge and in 226 row 18, you the bridge starts just as the lower bowl connects to the suites. This is all assuming the seating chart is 100% accurate of course.

I just look at this and think "were the bridges really necessary?" I'll normally pick up seats in the upper 200's and I always found myself looking at the scoreboard for replays and such. Now it seems like we're looking at a whole lot of steel and suits instead.

Yeah that giant screen in the picture will probably only be used to show reruns of law & order or something.

Do you see the big black box on the bridge? Take a wild guess as to what it might be. For extra credit, take a wild guess and the purpose of that big black box.

Funny guy

I enjoy sarcasm lol. Honestly though I cannot blame anyone that doesn't want those monstrosities in their sight line. I'm sure it will be distracting for some. I'm still and will always be in the "i'll judge it when I see it in person" camp. I'm definitely gonna pick up a pair in the upper 200s this season to check it out.

Yeah I get it smartass, it's so I can watch my law and order reruns.

Can't believe they cancelled the original version, was my favorite show. I could never get into Law & Order SUV, Law & Order Special Needs, Law & Order Drama Queen, etc...

At least now I'll get my fix at the Garden, thanks Jimmy

Guys, enough. The scoreboard and TVs are going to be showing CNBC's Fast Money.

The best one was with the guy who sniffed everything and played the alien in Men In Black II.

Seems like MSG Network is ths only channel that ISN'T showing Law and Order reruns, so you might not be far off. Would be better than showing the same episode of Sportsdesk for 8 hours every morning.

There's that ceiling opening we were looking for, reminds me of a mall for some reason

They really need to update those rails at the box office, very dated:
