Kaprizov looks a little fat.
scored his 3rd goal on 6 vs 5 to tie the game, ufa still lost in the regulation.
Wait to see if he's on the Russian World Championship squad. Otherwise, begin his off-season.What does he do now that his season is over?
No I'm pretty sure he was a fifth round pick due to severe underscouting. If anyone knew about his skill and ability and didn't draft him in the third or fourth rounds because they're afraid of his being Russian, those people should be fired.I think only fans really get up in arms about whether a player actually wants to come to the NHL. They want the best players in the world without questions.
I think NHL clubs are much more realistic. It is the reason Kaprizov was a 5th pick. It is his decision where he plays. Minnesota knows this. They would love for him to come over in a year, but they also realize that you cannot force a player to do what you would like.

Like you said Zucker is a sure bet to play with Koivu and Granlund. Kaprizov would have to be out of this world to push Nino or Parise on the 4th line. In reality veterans get preferential treatment even under Boudreau and Kaprizov would be the waiver exempt guy with a two-way contract headed to Iowa.BB keeps only one line together all the time...Zucker - Koivu - Granlund.
The other wingers may start on a random line, but get moved due to their play.
E.g. White started on the so called first line with Staal as his center.
Boudreau likes to shuffle his lines and isn't afraid to move his wingers up, if they play well.
Kaprizov might be playing on the first line very soon.
Traded to CSKA Moscow.
