Dal colle played more with cole cassels than Laughton.

Dal colle is twice the NHL prospect Laughton is.

Ya, but Laughton is 2 years older, that's what makes Dal Colles season very impressive. The gens switched there lines a lot this year. DC spent time with cassels, Sterk, latour, Laughton, smith and some odd shifts with smoskawitz

If Dal Colle goes back to junior he's gonna absolutely destroy the league.

I can see him outscoring Bennett next year. Bennett is more polished and has less room to grow IMO.

A good amount of the NHL's top 15 in scoring score 40% or more on the PP.

And that's totally fine; I'm just talking about prospects, though. Being able to score a point at ES is more difficult than on the PP, therefore the ability to score a greater number of ES points than someone else implies a higher level of dominance over one's peers. Again, it's not a massive red flag for Dal Colle; it's just one indicator that points to him being less of a sure thing in terms of his offense translating well to the NHL.

Besides, ES scoring is of high importance in any league since PPs are reliant on your team being able to draw penalties, other teams doing things to take penalties, and refs calling the penalties in your favour.

This might be sole slam dunk in this draft if they don't trade the pick. The Islanders are very weak on LW and Dal Colle will probably be BPA.

Will Dal Colle be in the Islanders opening night lineup? No. He'll be sent back. 2015-2016 season, maybe.

I'm starting to really like Dal Colle. Wouldn't be upset at all if the Flames drafted him. If the Islanders get him, him and Tavares could be lethal

The Island seems to love its Generals, cant say I blame them haha. They both have unbelievable offensive instincts and playmaking, DC's shot is lethal and thats what makes him so successful, you just cant give him any room. JT was a great possesion player and an even better scorer in junior (obviously). They have similar skill sets, JT was just absolute magic and one of the best players the ohl has seen. I personally think they would play very well together, DC gets open very easily and can work off the cycle.

JT works perfectly with the way you described Dal Colle. I really hope this kid ends up an Islander tonight if he's available.

Kulemon must be crying tears of joy. Im pretty excited to see what he can do.

Islanders made the right pick and he is the perfect fit. Like you, I'm excited to see what he can do. I hope he can make me look good and live up to my hype.

Definitely going to keep an eye on him.

add ho sang if he reaches his potential

I would love if he does, then we can go to Toronto with all the Toronto Boys(Tavares, Strome, Cizikas, Dal Colle and Ho Sang), that not counting other guys like Bailey, De Haan, Clutterbuck and Martin who were born in Ontario. As an Islanders fan living in Ontario I love pointing out to all my leaf fan friends how the Islanders have more players from Ontario then the Leafs.

Don't pin your hopes on him, he's a long shot to make it. If he does make it, won't be for a few years anyhow. Don't need him anyway, already have enough firepower.

You have been one of his biggest critics. I like the kid. He's confident but still very well spoken. I he doesn't have any other issues like being late to practice/team meetings than I don't care. He's outspoken and flamboyant not a criminal or a headcase.
