Boldy has better puck skills and can create. Tuch, IMO, is more of a prototypical power forward.

When he first came up to the NHL he didn't look so impressive. He has grown into his speed. Boldy might too, but in any event, I think his game is more based around his hockey IQ and skill. I am hoping that he will be a better player than Tuch.

BC has a good thing going with that Hardman-Newhook-Boldy line. Newhook/Boldy in college is a little like MacKinnon/Rantanen.

I'm a believer in Podkolzin, but going into the draft (once Zegras was taken) this was who I wanted.

I know his first year post-draft was less than ideal, but looks like he's really taken off since.

Yeah, in all honesty I think the Wild get a bad wrap for moving Tuch.

by his own admission he basically wasn’t a good skater until a year or so into his college career. He completely changed his stride and went from a slower, physical power forward into a guy who could fly.

This is incorrect.

I have to assume they would want him to get some games at the end of the season, my only concern would be if there's some kind of quarantine he has to go through. It could be possible that he won't be eligible to play until the very end of April, at which point you'd be throwing him into the middle of a playoff race on two weeks of rest without having practiced with the team at all. They might opt to wait, but we'll see.

He seems to do all the little things right, and is great at winning battles. Very happy. Ability to play on PP and kill penalties is great.

Can't wait to see him in Minnesota, whether this season or next. I'll be curious to see how fast he adjusts to the AHL.
