Points in all but 3 games this season. On a 17 game point streak... 19g 20a.

Some freshman season he's having.

I cant wait for Jets to trade Ladd... opens up a nice top 6 LW spot for next year hmmmmm

maybe another consecutive one and done Hobey Baker winning season for a future NHL star?

Man this kid looks to be the real deal.

Hurts to see as a Bruins fan, but the Jets are my second team so it's some consolation.

Only if people start voting for him he has a long way to go to catch Demko...

Demko: 10,704 votes
Connor: 960 Votes

Everyone go vote for this kid!!

Look at how Larkin is doing in the NHL, and Connor is having a better season than him. Hell be in pro hockey 100% next year. Almost nothing left to prove in NCAA and no way Jets risk anything with him contract wise

Was a top 10 talent at the draft and now making everyone who passed on him look foolish. Winnipeg has themselves a gem.

Oh please, that is such nonsense.

The only team that should feel embarrassed are the Bruins. The other teams picked good players as well.

I can see Sharks, Panthers, Devils, and maybe even Islanders regretting it long run. Also, Dallas's pick also looks worse than any of the Bruins picks at the moment

He's played with Larkin throughout most of his U16 career and always put up more points. It's scary to think he could be a more offensively gifted Larkin

Interesting last season as an NCAA rookie "THE" Jack Eichel put up 1.78 PPG.

This season as a rookie (granted 1 year later than Jack) Connor is scoring at a 1.82 PPG pace. Not saying Kyle is Jack Eichel but his season has been pretty special.

Still a bit puzzling he couldn't crack team USA's line up but not much use in beating that :dead horse anymore.

I think Larkin is the more complete player, and has the added value of playing C. I'm hoping Connor can become a high scoring winger in the top 6. That's a good return for a #17 overall pick.

It's my sincere hope he becomes a superstar. This is for two reasons: 1: come on, who wouldn't want to see Winnipeg succeed? And 2: maybe they will stop calling McDavid by his first name only like Sidney or Henrik and Daniel (looking at you Jim Hughson).

Connor might be a bit more of a threat than Larkin, but Larkin is a much more complete player. Larkin was better positionally in all 3 zones and a better player along the boards when he was at UofM than Connor has been. Connor is the flashier player and is also an exceptional skater. Him and Motte have been driving UofMs offense this year.

I don't think the Islanders would "regret" it in the long run even if Connor becomes a much better player than Barzal. I believe they said they only traded with Edmonton at that spot because Barzal was still available.

I reckon this is done to avoid confusion, rather than bias.

Hockey East and the big 10 are a LOT different.

the big 10, is for lack of a better phrase, ****ing terrible

I remember me and a bunch of other Dallas fans wanted this guy so badly leading up to the draft. Now instead of having him we'll be playing against him in our division. Winnipeg got a real steal with him.
