Has anybody seen him play

And where do you think he will be drafted

What does he project to be

A lot of guy have him in the late 2nd or on the 3rd round... But for me, he is more a late 3rd round. Depends on the need of the team that are picking ... If you want a guy that can develop in a really good 3rd liner, pick Lemieux. But if you want a guy that can develop well and become a good 2nd liner, pick Dvorak, (thats an exemple) ...

Meh, I'm certainly not put off by a confident kid who thought he should've gone in round one. It's also a cliched response for Lemieux to say that he's going to work hard and prove all those teams wrong. Who knows, maybe he thought a particular interview went especially well and felt snubbed when they drafted someone else? Or maybe he had just hoped to go to a playoff team? This isn't even a blip on this Sabres fan's radar.

Also, FWIW, I had him ranked at #34 and was part of the mod team that selected him at #39 in the mod mock.

25 goals in 27 games. His goals per game ratio just hit tops in the league passing Dal Colle and McDavid who were the only two people ahead of him in goals per game before he scored 2 last night (after 4 the day before) to put his ratio over the top.

He's third overall in goals scored in the ohl with Marner and one of the Otters ahead of him in more games played.

He also gets suspended a lot.

So...right on track. A post draft season looking like it's entitled to some notice.

Very surprised how little he is being talked about. One of the leagues leading goal scorers, averaging just under a goal per game and already surpassed last seasons goal total. Granted he has a disproportionate number of goals to assists but he has been great this year. Definitely turning into a steal at 31 and showing he indeed was deserving of a 1st round pick and without a doubt is a top 30 prospect from the 2014 draft. I was expecting him to be a 15-20 goal 3rd line winger in the NHL but now I think he may actually be a 25 goal top 6 winger like his dad. Definitely excited to see him with the Sabres in a year or two and will be an important piece to them long term.

I think he'll get his due at the world juniors next year, he seems like the type of guy to get the medias attention on & off the ice.

He's a Sabres prospect. We don't have the HF Boards presence that other teams have. The Canadian teams along with a few others (i.e. Detroit) start and continue many more posts than we do.

2 more goals tonight, including the game winner.

35 goals on the year. Not too shabby (one goal off the lead in the OHL with 5 games less played). Should look nice on the Amerks next year!

I don't think he can't go to the AHL next year. It's back to juniors.

It honestly wouldn't be the craziest thing in the world if he made the team out of camp next year.

But yeah, it would be juniors, then AHL the year after.

Rasmus Andersson is a defenseman. Not sure why hockeyDB lists him as a forward.

Wasn't playing close enough attention, but I could have sworn he was on the ice with either Blandisi or Mangiapane.

I always seem to see him with Blandisi. Not sure if he plays with Mangiapane

It would be extremely crazy. Even if he looked close to ready, which I don't think he is, particularly the kind of game he is going to play in the NHL, but with our contract situation there going to be tough to fit Grigorenko, Armia and Reinhart, let alone Lemieux when he can be stashed.

Is he tough enough (or dumb enough if he's not tough enough) to go with the big boys in the NHL?

Have you watched him? He plays a high tempo extremely physical agitation game. Will it translate to the bigs? Jets hope so. He is highly thought of by his coach, Dale Hawerchuk. He is still a year or two away......at best.
