Makes sense. I'm pretty excited to see if Brendan can make the team this season. He'll have a ton of competition but I wouldn't be suprised if he stole a job on the 4th line.

As for your projections in 3 years... How about:

Laine/Scheifele/Ehlers
Conner/Little/Wheeler
Lemieux/Lowry/Dano

The oldest players will be Wheeler (33) and Little (32) in 3 years.

So you're projecting higher upside players like Petan & Roslovic will bust? I don't like Dano as a long-term fit for the Jets, would prefer to see him packaged for an upgrade.
Lowry belongs on a 4th line. Lemieux may end up there as well, but he'll have a chance to work his way up.

I agree with you on Dano,Roslovic has more potential.I like Lowery because he plays like a 6'5" freight train. He put up some impressive numbers his last year in junior and could develop into a steady 35-40 point producer.

Wow really? Wouldn't be mad if he was traded again, but Dano had really good possession numbers with Burmi. Let's keep these two around

How has he looked in manitoba?

From the handful of viewings I've had he's been okay, not surprisingly he takes a lot of penalties which is an issue as they rarely seem to be offset by an opponent's penalty. This may be one of my biggest qualms with his game, his agitator style seems to be fairly ineffective. His offence does not seem to be transitioning to the pros at the moment, but then again the Moose are a very poor possession team, never mind their very suspect D. He's been seeing some time on the PP with some of the skilled guys but as I said having some trouble finding his touch in the pros.

The kid has a temper like his father. Never really liked him as a Kitchener fan. Especially after last year when he was tossed from game 5 and allegedly through his stick at a Cop on his way down the tunnel.
