Sorry I was referring to the view you are caricaturing, not your view. Obviously anyone criticizing Holtz's motor hasn't watched him.

How was Holtz in is first game? I know DIF got shutout against Frolunda 2-0.

The Eklund-Josefson-Holtz line played well, only line that could handle Frölunda. But hard to get anything going when every other line were stuck in the d-zone, and the Djurgården PP has been a trash fire.

I don't know, I feel like he's gonna be that one guy in the top 10 that drops. Similar to Wahlstrom going at 12 I believe in 2018 after being consensus top 10 (also similar-ish style players). That is not to take away from his talent, but I feel like he's gonna be that guy.

I feel like he will go top 7 unless goalie is taken, if so then top 9 for sure.

The Devils really need a player like this. I can't think of the last big time goal scorer with a shot like this we have drafted. Hughes and Hischier will probably be ale to pot close to thirty goals at some point. This kid could probably get closer to forty playing on their wings. Having him and Nolan Foote on the same or desperate line would really help round out our top six fwd group with goal scoring and some size.

He had a good game today, created a few good scoring chances and had an assist. Looks physically strong out there. Sucks that New Jersey got him as a swede who supports Djurgården and the Rangers.

The amount of strength needed to combat that stick lift and still get off that goal is pretty ridiculous in my opinion. This kid is powerful.
