Richards needs to be gone next season. I'm not going to tear the guy to shreds, because I know he's trying, but he is exactly what is wrong with this team. Gets favorable zone starts and more PP time than anyone, and still can't deliver.

I wish you luck Brad, but after this series, I hope to never see you in a Rangers jersey ever again.

Yeah, I think you said that back in early May, too.

I don't think they've got much of a chance but you'll have to excuse me if I don't take much that you say all that seriously. You gave up a long time ago.

I gave up because I realized what a lot of you realize but won't admit...we were lucky to get this far...plain and simple...I had no delusions like most of you....I knew this was over before it started and seeing these optimistic posts is quite funny

Argh, I want be optimistic and think we can win the next one but we have had no bounces go our way while LA get's 1 or 2 every game...but I guess the real good teams create their own luck sometimes.

tonight, im putting the blame on this loss firmly where it belongs.

on the los angeles kings roster.

they played a very, very, VERY Good game.

Yep. First game they outplayed the Rangers for more than a period and geez, the two periods were embarrassing. That third was clinical.

If the series was 2-1 I still say we can beat them. Unlikely to win 4 straight against a team that can defend as well as the Kings did in that 3rd.

No. Quick had a great game tonight...

Hank outplayed him the other two games. Sorry, that's a fact. Your narrative is wrong.

Game 2 I don't agree. I thought Quick was better.

Game 1 is arguable. Prob give an edge to Hank.

I think Quick has been better. He's made the saves when they needed to be made. Hank......sometimes.

Sorry the bolded is true.

Hank FINALLY gets his shot at the cup and he's..........good I guess. After all these years of him waiting I'm surprised this is how he plays.

I'm very shocked at him looking just slightly above average. Quick hasn't just been better, he's been convincingly better.

I agree 100 percent with this.

No way man. The 1st goal was "weak" on Hank in that the ****** LA ice had him sliding everywhere. I can't remember the 2nd goal, we all know how I feel about that 3rd goal, and the 4th goal is the result of ****** defense (though Hank could've stopped it).

This is the first game where Quick took it to Hank. Hank made the saves when they needed to be made in games 1-2, the problem is the Kings got a gift goal that took the game to overtime, where any bounce can end it.

Just saw Mike Keenan little speech on Joe. That's why he is part of Cup history in NY. He put exactly into perspective. Sather should just pay him to go to locker room and help AV motivate this team.

Congrats oh great wizard. Wanna give us the ****ing lottery numbers too?

The Kings HAVE NOT outplayed the Rangers this series.

So tired of this "west is better" nonsense.

I think the NHL WANTS the Kings to win, and the media wants the Kings to win, but they are not this amazing juggernaut that can't be stopped.

Call the game they way it's supposed to be called, and the Kings are killing 30 penalties a night.

The NHL don't give a ****. They have their dream matchup. If the NHL wants anything, it's this series being competitive and lasting as long as possible, so they can advertise their sport. That's all.

I hate what ifs, but this.... If that goal was waived off, its a 2-1 series in LAs favor in worst case.. Best were up 2-1 thanks to momentum

****ing ******** refs

when they lost saturday, i was pretty depressed. you don't lose games being up 4-2, going into the third. you just don't. even after it was tied we had the game on our stick with Brad, Krieder, and Zucc all nearly scoring..
they blew it.

I really thought they would win tonight. this is not how you prepare for a game 3 SCF game at home in 20 years. Too many weak minded players.
Lundqvist was weak tonight. sorry, but he's not ready for a cup. He's too weak minded and emotional.

Any delusions about Stepan being a gamer should be dispelled after this postseason. This kid is a skin and bones do nothing. He's a weakling out there. We are in so much trouble down the middle, it's not even funny.

Girardi has rocks for brains. Staal is a shell of his former self.
Mcdonaugh makes a heck of a lot of mistakes for the second coming of leetch...

Stralman isn't anything special.

Nice run boys. going to be a long time to get here again...

Sweep is bad news for the NHL. A flop of a series like this is awful. Lots of loss in revenue. Ratings for Game 4 are going to tank. There's a reason why the Rangers got so many PPs today.

I'm tempted to think we won't make it back for the rest of Hank's career. I fear this Finals will wrongfully be remembered as his legacy.

Well if that's the case he will get what he deserves, and no matter how many regular season wins he has, how many games 7's he wins if he doesn't win a cup he is nothing. He will be remembered well by us, but not revered like Richter.

Yup. Obstruction penalties are out the window and the NHL is mind numbingly inconsistent from game to game and series to series. Awful.
