I hope Soo scores at even strength . I would hate this team to lose on an offside goal ffs! Why have replay if for two games in a row you get get it wrong ffs!

I don't know about the offside, but you're certainly in no position to complain about officiating today. Earlier in the game you got a goal after a 100% phantom tripping call that you would certainly agree should have been diving. Just recently, the head check and hit from behind on Hayes (that will likely lead to a suspension) was mis-called as well as the 2 handed overhand slash on Jack Beck. We'll see if Boulton gets a well deserved ejection for this elbow.

Expect multiple suspensions after this game. It's been really chippy on both sides.

Once again, way too many penalties. Goaltending just not good enough.
Not OHL players:

Boulton
Boulton
Van Bommel
O’Flaherty

Fourth line at best:

Van Gorp
Johnston

Ideal third liners that get played up the lineup:

Sim
Nicholl (this can change)
O’Reilly (this can change)
Gazizov
McCue

Simpson is okay but he was never the answer. Did we forget the sofites he let in the final last year? Peterborough won because they had more depth all around their lineup and played a good defensive game. It was not because of Simpson.

Shorthanded but a winnable game. The Boulton Bro expirement has to end. McCue brings absolutely nothing to the table as an OA. Nichol has hustle but no finish. As far as I'm concerned 73 and 39 are expendable along with 37.

Mark Matier (best commentator in the OHL) and his broadcast partner both claimed the play was offside after viewing the replay (multiple times). Refs didn't hesitate to call consecutive penalties against the Knights in the 3rd period with the Knights down a goal. Why? Because the penalties were deserved...In any case, it's 4-4 on to OT....Lol!

I will certainly take your word for it. That kind of thing is hard to tell when you're at the arena.

I get that this is a touchy area for you guys and I'm not interested in making this a bias conversation, so I'm going to drop it. I just saw an awful lot of missed calls. It's a one-off.

One thing I will say is that Sam Dickinson must be suspended for his conduct after the game. You can't go spear an unsuspecting player who is celebrating with his teammates after the game has ended. Everyone should condemn that kind of behavior, even on your own roster.

Great effort by the boys today, always hard to play in the Soo. Really tough without Bonk, Cowan, Barkey and Halttunen but pulled together and made it close.

TSN touring points:

-The ridiculous save on a wide open cage in the second

-The completely Pejorative Slured offside goal

-Boulton getting a lengthy suspension

-The no quit last 3 minutes with the goalie pulled

I’m going to take the word of the 4 officials who took an extremely lengthy delay to watch it. Mark Matier sometimes can’t even get players names right… no offense to Mark

Can almost guarantee they send in video on this incident.

I thought McCue was fantastic tonight. He consistently brings great effort and causes havoc when I see him.
You obviously haven't seen him play this season. A Defensive liability. An OA that isn't even on the top 2 lines. I wouldn't miss him if he was shipped off to another team.

Only twice this year, but he seems to be doing his usual thing. He strikes me as the type of player that Dale Hunter loves. He gets annawful lot of ice time, but both teams had key guys out today.

But if the quality of the video is equal to, or worse than the video used for " the play is under review" situations, probably not suitable for making a suspension determination. :skeptic::thumbd:

All those are of your calls not that of the officials or the league.

In the old days there were one referee and no replays or cameras, liked it or not we had to live with what ever the calls were on the ice. This game today with cameras is over , let the league with cameras decides if any suspension(s) your team won so live with it

I believe a player receiving 5 and a game triggers an automatic review by the league, so that's not entirely my opinion. The tone might be a bit different if that elbow was on Barkey.

I happen to know that the Dickinson play was sent in for review as well. Pure intent to injure on an unsuspecting player after the game was over wouldn't go over well here. I know to expect another rough one next game, because cowardice doesn't go over well with any opponent.

The Nicholls hit on Hayes has some grey area, so we'll leave that one alone.

Anyways, I'm done debating these. You've drawn your line in the sand without even watching the plays, so there's no point.

Good luck until our next matchup. Keep beating the shit out of Saginaw please.

Once McConnell-Barker scored and Boulton pulled that cheap shot I shut it off. There is no room for that shit in the OHL today. What we know about concussions and after effects this crap doesn’t belong.
I wonder if MH reconsiders this acquisition's value after his 3rd suspension is served?

You are correct. He is a Dale guy but at this stage as an OA he needs to contribute more.

What garbage you talking about? The northern 3 game trips are usually a good indicator of what you have and have not. It gives management a chance to see

what garbage?
“This probably should be a sell year and recoup some picks. Saginaw is starting to look dominant and Kitchener is playing well. We are trending downward the last two games.”

Why sell? Were you one of the ones saying sell right out last year as well? How did that end up?
