I've been hearing Sam O'Reilly's name being floated around a lot more recently. Along with Aiden Young and Lincoln Moore in Saginaw
The only way I see O'Rielly or Nichol being moved is if London thinks they can bring in one of their American prospects next year. As deep as their prospect pool is, it is rather limited on Canadian forwards, especially players that would be able to step into a top 6 role next year (where O'Rielly & Nichol should be as 18year olds)

What makes late bloomer Jacob Julien so dangerous is his hockey high-Q. He's been developing late since his minor days and have been learning extremely well in that time. While most players chases and follows the puck around the curvature of the board Julien heads for where the puck will be and waits to retrieve it. Or using the back board as pass back to himself in front of the net where he'd be heading to take a shot on net. London has him at 6' 3" 170 lbs while Winnipeg prospect pages have him at 6' 4" 182 lbs, at this height if he can climb up and hold his weight between 188 and 192 lbs he will be unstopable at the NHL level, I am sure this is where he will be in 2 years time. Very smart with a body of steel and tons of talent to go with it.

I am very happy with the Barkey pick. He is a very reliable two way player and excellent penalty killer and on power play. This probably should be a sell year and recoup some picks. Saginaw is starting to look dominant and Kitchener is playing well. We are trending downward the last two games. This weekend will be the litmus test to see where we stand against the northern teams.
Starting this garbage up again?

It’s early… might be smart to sell. Idk if Cowan will make the Leafs next year so why not count on him, bonk, Dickinson all back.

Sell George, Edward, Mackinnon, McCue, Simpson, Sim, Gazizov, Julien

We could get a bunch of picks
Or contend and sell spare parts for picks as the team has a long successful track record of doing so

O’Reilly has a bright future. Higher upside than Nicholl but I like Nicholl’s compete too. 17 years old - remember that!

He has been heating up lately. 20 Pts in his last 10 games. Even if he can finish off the season at 1.5 PPG for the remaining games he should hit the 90 point mark...
WOW

After 6-4 and 7-5 losses against Saginaw this season the Knights know they can skate and score right along with them, but can they slow down this extremely fast team to a crawl will be the challenge for tonight game with constant speed pressure in D-zone. If they do they stand a chance to win tonight or even if they lose and holds their offense to 2 or 3 goals would make huge step forward playing team defense first hockey implemented by Dale in his system. I think they can and will, full speed away from the puck should be the magic word for tonight. IMHO

I’m not sure why the league uses video review when they still get it wrong. I’m not sure how that could have been any more clear the puck crossed the line.

London 7(8)-3 win over Saginaw

I hope this will shut the negatives about this team going far this year. With 3 full months of improment and a trade deadline to see yet. We have just saw a sample of what these players can do as an unit and a system.

As I mentioned in my last post speed, was the magic to make the system work against fast skating team like Saginaw for this victory, they had some success again tonight in the circle as well.. This team will be fine

And look out for that young Van Gorp kid, he's got wheels and smart , good at faceoffs too, he's going to be a good one !

It was a goal but I also agree with referee's call, it was not called a goal on the ice, had it been they would have call it a goal. They needed a full view of the puck to reverse the call as it was obscured in the glove (right call)

That was the most complete 60 minutes that the Knights have played all season. Still too many penalties in the 2nd period, but they never stopped skating (or hitting). Tonight they showed that they really can play with the best in the league, and win! Hopefully, this will quiet the naysayers, and we will see a similar effort against the Soo!

Very impressive effort. Still some of the same issues as you mentioned but nothing’s perfect.

To be able to acquire a big name London may have to trade one of their high end 17 year old forwards to make a deal. They don’t have that much else to offer. They only have two, 2nds and no 16 or 17 year old player drafted in the 1st round that they are willing to trade.

Moore will be here next year.

Unstoppable? Come on lol.

Looks like Saginaw has some snipers but they gave up 15 or so odd man rushes...defense is big but got caught way too much. Having Sim back helps the bottom end. The proper guys are now on 4th line. All changes till New Years, playing 500 hockey is now the goal till the New year.

Now if they could just add some consistency to their game. We all knew they were capable but it only comes out once in awhile.

Loosing Bonk, Barkey, Cowan, & Halttunen for the next couple of weeks might be a blessing in disguise. It should push everyone up a line on the roster and force some guys to elevate their games to the next level. It will also be an opportunity for Van Gorp, Wooley, and some others to prove that they deserve a full time role.
