The bottom 6 will not win them the OHL which they have to do to go onward. We don’t have picks or 16 year old players to trade

Not OHL players:

Boulton
Boulton
Van Bommel
O’Flaherty

Fourth line at best:

Van Gorp
Johnston

Ideal third liners that get played up the lineup:

Sim
Nicholl (this can change)
O’Reilly (this can change)
Gazizov
McCue

Simpson is okay but he was never the answer. Did we forget the sofites he let in the final last year? Peterborough won because they had more depth all around their lineup and played a good defensive game. It was not because of Simpson.
FINALLY

This kind of critics don't help the team any !

We remember all the naysayers of a year ago, the team still made it to league finals, this season is not over yet, still lots of hockey to play, and with your none OHLers too

With our 4 top scores away i thought that was a decent effort in the Soo. Impressed with sustained pressure by London after killing the Boulton 5. Was thinking this might of been an easy 2 points for the home team but London and Dickinson made them earn it.

That was a great win, boys were flying last night.

SIM surprised me that he could make such a noticeable impact in the lineup.

Van Gorp like others have said has stood out and impressed, he definitely needs to hit the gym and bulk up though.

O’rielly will get noticed by scouts this year. He is playing up to expectations, need to see a bit more from Nichol.

I would have been very surprised at the beginning of the year to see Barkey named to TC. He has shown another gear, him and Cowan are unstoppable on the PK and they both have a spot with their speed.

Is it just me or is anyone else underwhelmed by Bonk, don’t get me wrong he does everything well but I look at last years Ethan DelMastro and that’s what I expect of a first round NHL pick. Nothing wrong with Bonks play but just not that dominant at this point.

Looking at our kids in the wings, P.J. Fagan and Blake Arrowsmith are have good seasons among others. I’m looking forward to seeing them audition over the break.

At the deadline I would love the knights to go after some value players, I have my eyes on Gavin Hayes or Demi Goure. Both teams FLT and OS are rarely trading players out so likely not happening.

Hayes for Johnston, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 4th

Projected line up:

Halttunen Cowen Barkey
Hayes Julien Gazizov
McCue O’reilly Sim
Van Gorp Nichol Van Bommel

In rotation: S/R Boulton

Dickinson Bonk
George Edwards
Leonard McKinnon
Woolley Brzustewicz
why would owen sound trade goure? they are only 3 points behind london with a game in hand and won 8 of 10?

Never thought of it before but Goure would be an excellent compliment add if he could be had for the right deal.
why would they trade him?

Provided Barlow is back and firing on all cylinders, the Attack faithful would be willing to give up Goure for one of Dickensen, Bonk and a combination of 2, 3, 4th rounders.

And we will throw in your choice of bottom 6 F and bottom pairing dman .

We gave up Paris,Levin, Humphrey and Crane for .... only serviceable thing we got back was picks. Players we got back are not even listed on the roster on the Knights page.

For the record I said it would be highly unlikely the Goure would be available, OS rarely sells.

But to mention that they are 3 points behind London and therefore have a chance is inaccurate, OS has a good team but I don’t see them entering the deadline as contenders. In the near year the wheat from the chaff will be separated.

One thing I will say is that Sam Dickinson must be suspended for his conduct after the game. You can't go spear an unsuspecting player who is celebrating with his teammates after the game has ended. Everyone should condemn that kind of behavior, even on your own roster.
Pretty sure it was Jackson Edward with the spear?

Yup Edwards. I must say Martin is pretty handy with the Bobbly Clarke two handers to the back of the knees. But that wasnt a Knight who did it so, nevermind.
Soo players were just as dirtly after the play. Bolton's hit to the head was brutal and he deserves some games, and then sit in the press box.

Agree. I seem to recall a former Knight cruising through a crease after a whistle and bombing an elbow on a goalie. Rupert got a huge suspension.

McCue and Nichol both played well yesterday.
Anytime the Knights lose a game, people automatically rag on the same player they have chosen to rag on all season… Even if the opposite is true.

No problem with people taking issues with players who were undisciplined and hurt the team yesterday. But in general a pretty good effort short handed on the road.

thats an interesting take, they havent really had barlow to his potential this year and their run is without him. you dont think he will be a difference maker when he returns?
